Rick, I forgot to mention that I find that wearing full finger cycling gloves helps maintain my grip on the bars.
During the summer I wear light weight ones with no extra padding.

Kill me is what it nearly did. But I am now saying that it was worth it. I have been saying this for a long time. A long time since I tried to find out how to sell scrap aluminium.
