Great job Larry! It does me good to hear the whining about recumbent advantages from the uprights. They have been quiet for a good number of years. All of the performances by the recumbents in Psycho 48 have them squealing again, meaning the interest in the recumbent pendulum may be swinging back our way again. Now it is the West Coast recumbents turn in the Borrego Springs TT to be the troublemakers! Good job guys and good luck to the upcoming racers.

Larry David and Robert - excellent showing, gents! As for the uprights’ uproar - what a bunch of whiners! But, I’m not surprised. Human nature hasn’t changed since 1934. Too bad Ryan Collins wasn’t there because it seems they can stomach mixing classes so long as the recumbent comes in 2nd or worse.

No they aren’t closed. Most of the route’s roads are lower traffic, except when nearing Bayboro. If doing the 48 hour event, traffic picks up on the week day with work trucks, school buses, etc.

drivers there are quite polite, giving you plenty of room when passing.
