Fork crown

I may try and squeeze a few more millimetres off the fork crown for tyre clearance. It is probably about 3mm at the moment.
I don't know my x-seam. It's not a measurement that is often used here in the UK. My in-seam is 29". 5'6".
The seat base doesn't move and doesn't dig into my thighs either even though the seat height of my Q559 increased by about 1.5" when I fitted the 29er wheels.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of your 29er. Have you retained the Avid BB5 disk brakes? I have an unused Avid BB7 Road (160mm) disk calliper from an unfinished project, to hand. I may fit that on the front of my bike.
