pull the tool bag and see if it helps. My tools are in a scarab bag under the seat. I have everything to repair my bike there. Quite heavy.

I recall doing something similar to your practice to learn the V20. I too had trouble above 20 mph for a while, but it got better over time. Now I can ride 40 mph without issues. I complained here how I thought the bike was inherently unstable and everyone told me to keep working on it and it will come eventually. At one point, I strapped a stiff bungie around the slider to the front of the seat. It seemed to help, but I eventually took it off as it was no longer necessary. I didn't feel fully comfortable on the bike until I put at least 1000 miles on it. Even though I have some wobbles around 12 mph, I believe it's my body weight and I handle it just fine. With the V20, it's all about developing the counteractive muscle memory. That takes a lot of time.
