    26" wheels on S40

If you go 26" you will be able to get a 2" Big Apple in there - but not much bigger/wider. Robert

    Freehub replacement Q45 2022 (thru-axle)

I have a message in to our rep to see about this. The Chosen hubs are used on A LOT of bikes (they get branded a lot as other's hubs) so it is possible there are others that can fit. Ill post what turns up...

Cracked Handlebar Screw Section: Help Needed

Unfortunately those parts are few and far between - if any. A new setup won't work as every part of the chain is changed from the stay to the fork, etc etc... Can you send me an email to robert@cruzbike? I will need several measurements - the mm OD of the tube, wall thickness, length from the...

Adjusting S40 for small people with short legs

The boom on the front end is long from the factory to allow for a long X-seam fit. For some shorter X-seams it can be necessary to cut off some of the boom, as the end of the tube will butt up against the threaded inserts in the slider when inserted far in. Only cut off as much as is needed...

How do I identify my specific model V?

That is likely a 1.0 There are not many of those in the wild and there were not a ton of those made. Classic

Are V2 and V20 parts available?

The parts for those larger "big boom" V's are hard to come by and we do not have a ton of them anymore - mostly as people bought them all up years ago for the most part. It is also important to know that there were not tons of those versions made - and the design at the time was much more...

    New Cruzbike Rider Q45

You can go all the way in or out (but not too far out to disengage the threads) and this will set the amount of preload for the shock when you sit on it.

Any suggestions for a part number for a replacement brake pad for the RideRever mechanical disk brake on an S40???

Art, The Shimano style should work - note that "normal" brake pads have a thicker backing plate than the stock ones - so it might be the case that with the replacement pads you need to leave the "heat sink" (questionable if this even works) out and not use it. The thickness of most pad backing...

Tire pressure and wobble over 32mph

This can happen sometimes if you have a tire that is not fully seated in the bead of the rim at one area. It might be hard to see in general - that might be something to check out. Robert

Is the V20 aluminum frame no longer being sold?

The main frame is still aluminum - just the front end is CF. But yes the older all-aluminum front end V20 is not being made at this time...

    ChatGPT's poem about V20

You can ask Bing AI "What can you tell me about the cyclist Maria Parker" and you will get a bio with more information on her race records, etc than most people would ever be able to easily Google. It is so much better - IMHO Google searching is just about obsolete on its own now... as long as...

T50 vs Q45 as Faster Road Build

An aftermarket shock would probably be needed on the Q45, but weight should be OK for the frame especially the Q45. I would say the limiting factor might be the resin seat more than the frame. Robert
