    The stock S40 bar is a wider clone of the off-the-shelf Salsa Woodchipper 2 bar - it is pretty wide for a road bar for sure at about 46cm. There are wider bars out there - the Salsa Cowchipper bar I think is available in a 56cm width.

    This is good advice no matter what bike you are on. Also not to be adjacent the stripe if it is wet - as your foot can easily slip on the surface depending on your shoes.

    Denis, There are small wedges that you can get at an LBS to help shim the FD at an angle. They aren't super common but they can help change the angle just enough. Some DR's have a curve that seems to contact rings sometimes.

    Heads up for new S40 gars - the stock bars are just a 2cm wider clone of the largest stock Salsa Woodchipper II bar - in case you were looking for a comparable to compare against.

    Does it say "Diatech" on the side? If so that is the older Diatech (DiaCompe) expanding headset cap: Sadly I have been looking for 15 minutes now on the parts order to no avail. These headsets have not been used since the early 2000's by most companies. They were the rage in the late 1990's...

    I am pretty sure the Onewheel that Maria is learning is one of those electric ones, not a unicycle. I can't remember if it's one of the "sideways" stance (Actual Onewheel) style or one of the "face forward" style though.

    The 48c will be a good wide tire as mentioned but not too tight. Some good micro-knobbies will be much more grabby.
