Thanks for the insight into the gearing calculations Mark. I looked at your Wald=>Soma Gator handlebar migration discussion and have now reversed my handlebars to allow a more relaxed arm position.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

Thanks for all the tips and inspiration. Have built a 1x12 T50. By the time I ordered components, SRAM GX Eagle was available and was intrigued by the possibility (piqued by Lim's post). Copy of Doug Kline's T50, apart from GX Eagle groupset (XG-1275 10-50 cassette, trigger shifter, 170mm...

HubDock Quick Release Rear Wheel: Would this work on a Cruzbike?

Hi all, Just saw this on Kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/486778887/hubdock-quick-release-rear-wheel?ref=live A new hub design that allows quick release of the rear wheel (which would be the drive front wheel on a Cruzbike) whilst leaving the gears/chain untouched...

    Crossrack

gave up. hi Currystomper, I bought one for a Quest 451, had problems with the CrossRack cargo bag touching the back wheel. Don't think I did much in the way of troubleshooting/hacks but switched to a Topeak rack. Maybe I should lend it to John for him to test out on the other...

    Bike lock for Silvio

Very good points TimOz. I am Very good points TimOz. I am enjoying using the TigrLock, find it better than any previous lock for securing a Cruzbike. It can't secure both wheels plus the frame unfortunately (at least on the Silvio), which it can for a DF bike. Kendrick

    Locking Cruzbike's

Tigr Lock : down the track Have used the Tigr Lock for a few weeks. Prefer it to my previous various U-locks. Long enough to make it feasible to lock through the welded closed D under the Silvio seat. Mostly use the Silvio for commuting, so a lock means I can pop into the shops etc on...
