    Crash

Larry, I can see the picture, here it is again: The forks look undamaged but there is a slight parting on the front side of the joint between the forks and the yellow piece above it.

    Crash

I crashed today with my front wheel finding a gap in the road and me smacking into a curb. The front wheel is now impeding the frame and I assume the rod between the boom and the fork is bent, has anyone else had this problem and have a suggestion as to a fix?

    V20 Accessories

Interesting discussion and prompts me to ask about hydration and if most V riders opt of reservoirs - AKA bladders - than water bottles. I know that bent riders have generally adopted the ability to reach over their shoulders to grab at bottles mounted behind the seat, but I can see that as...

    Bike Sebring 2018

I just read this for the Sebring results: Dave Lewis, riding an HPV, finished with 647.2 miles. Good Grief!!!! If I had one of these I could ride LeJog in less than two days.

    Standard v's Vendetta riding

A 200K rando ride yesterday and I have to agree I really need to spend more time on the Vendetta and less on the shoulder/arm wrecking machine I rode. It was raining, cold, windy and hilly and I was imagining the speed I have seen my friend ride his V and thinking,. "Why isn't that me?". So, I...

    Standard v's Vendetta riding

I have reached the conclusion which many of you probably arrived at aeons ago, that the muscles used by a standard bike rider - pushing down - compared with a recumbent rider - pushing out - means that the transition from a standard to a vendetta is a slow process. The glutes, hamstrings and...

    Wanted Vendetta

Possible V buyer. Something astounding happened today, a friend who has a stable of bents wanted to try out my Vendetta and - extraordinarily - he got on a rode it perfectly having never been on a cruz bike before, he even rode it better than me - the dog! Anyway, he now wants to buy one, so...

    Cruzbike Vendetta V20

Maybe what you need is a 5 seater trailer on the back of the Vendetta then you can take the children with you, or a series of trailers like a train, one for each child with you the engine. Anyway, all of us move on from one activity to another - my sail board still hovers in the garage...

    Cruzbike Vendetta V20

The mischievous part of me wants to say that maybe if you had ridden your bike more often you wouldn't have had the time to have had 5 children, but that might be construed as being rude, so sorry in advance. Anyway, I hope you find a new home for the bike. :)

    Cruzbike Vendetta V20

I have to 'haul' my Vendetta to wherever I want to ride it, but then I do the same for my road bike and off road bike and rando bike, but that is the price and effort I have to make to do one of the activities I enjoy, which is to ride bikes. I used to ride from my house, but there is a main...

The Vendetta just isn't made for cargo

I was thinking the same, maybe hardboard or pegboard. Styrofoam would be light but not having enough - any? - tensile strength. Time to experiment and build on your clever solution. Thanks.

The Vendetta just isn't made for cargo

Neat solution, thanks John. Furthering my dig at all the dusty drab V's out there, here is what Kate of BUC said about my bike: "That bike is a gorgeous yellow but WOW!"

The Vendetta just isn't made for cargo

Thanks John, pictures would be nice. By the way all you Vendetta owners and designers and so on. Every one who sees my yellow Vendetta thinks it's so cool. The current drab colors have nothing going for them. I wonder why such an iconic color was discontinued in later models.

The Vendetta just isn't made for cargo

Eric, Just looked at your videos for the Wind Shadow Rack, very inventive, do you still use that or have you moved on to something else? Can you make me one?

Yikes Eric, those are some pretty substantial rigs you have there.

The Vendetta just isn't made for cargo

Eric, did you pick this video from a site, is it anonymous, do you know who are these riders, do you have a still photo of them with the bags and can you list the bags the bikes are carrying? I hope these are not too many questions but I am planning a bike packing trip and seeing the video is...
