    Adding Patterson Transmission to Q45?

Just been reading about Patterson's transmission box... just for $300. That's quite a bit of gear for 300. So I noticed @Robert Holler has one. Perhaps he can chime in. Is it heavy to use both in weight and gear selection? Does it ever need any maintenance and what type of gear selection...

    Eyeware

Ok... I am investigating some skydiving goggles. Kroop's 13 Fives.... I am putting the order in tomorrow. I am getting too many bugs in my eyes due to the recent floods.

    Break the 60KM/HR record

If you want to go faster put some fairings over the feet and pedals to slice through the air... there must be so much turbulence with a recumbent when pedalling that I am surprised no one has done it

I always found with the QXL rings that my chain would come off... friggin irritating. They are expensive too.

    Eyeware

Emmm I use Smith & Wesson protector goggles. Brilliantly cheap and effective. You can buy them for $15 at your local gun store. I also use a ridiculously cheap chinese helmet that looks like the Giro Vanquish for $30 (including visor).

Your Opinion Of The Ventist Seat Pad

The deluxe ventisit pad has an extra layer of that x10 fabric. It is possible to take the inside out of the deluxe and have the pad less spongy . That's what I have done. In winter I swap it out with a thick rubber sponge so you feel the power immediately. Not sure which bike you ride. Most of...

My First Trail Ride (an out of parking lot experience)

Avoid at all cost. There used to be a vendetta rider with a long crushed stone driveway... it was such an irritation he decided to sell his Vendetta. You have to travel slowly and the bike becomes a little unstable... then you dont want to trash your cleat and beautiful shoes on the stones...

    Curved slider opinions

I am 5'10. I have the long slider and straight boom , if I decide to revert back to the smaller chainstays then the curved slider will definetly be in the configuration. I like how aero it is but long hill climbs ... definitely go for shorter chainstays and curved slider.

Love to get a Vendetta but?

Hows it going @RBW1938 ? You might prefer to start with a cushion between your back and the seat. This raises the c of g and makes it stable. Wearing elbow pads might be an idea too; especially if you haven't ridden any other cruzbike before. Clip less pedals are good too. Get one foot clipped...

    Break the 60KM/HR record

How about designing a magic with the drive chain on the other side and riding somewhere like Mexico city or Lake Titicaca? You might be able to chew the coca leaves going around the velodrome ?

Magene Ridge $250 pedal Power meter

Well they gave me the questionnaire and asked me what I wanted... I will be amazed too. I have done so many kickstarter projects that have never made it and never got my money back. Re speedx and xshifter. So if IQSquared performs.... its party time.
