    22” wheel require less energy

For wheels,  the mass (and For wheels, the mass (and mass distribution) matters more than the radius. You can find lighter 700c wheels than the 451 wheels on the quest and they take less energy to get spun up to speed. Once you consider the whole system, the rider, the bike, the wheels...

    Vendetta or Silvio?

I disagree with the validity I disagree with the validity of the results. Unless you are worrying about seconds on hour courses, repeated runs (with not too much wind) will tell you exactly what you want to know and how much of an effect it will be. And you can argue that doing the tests in...

Front wheel drive and why it fails the "stability when you most need it" test.

Has anyone [on staff] over at I know Bryan has reviewed Quest and Sofrider. I don't think they've reviewed Vendetta and I'm quite sure they haven't reviewed the new Silvio. It would be easy to argue that this would be a good time for exactly that. :)

I'll point out that there I'll point out that there used to be a lot more of "this opinion" over at BROL. As more and more people got experience and as a certain-shall-not-be-named-but-we-all-know-who-she-is kicked-@$$ at RAAM, it has largely gone away. People are free to have their...

    Vendetta or Silvio?

Hi Maria, I've ridden both Hi Maria, Huh. I wouldn't have guessed that for the Silvio V2 (I'm sure the difference is much larger for the Silvio V1.x). But guessing at aerodynamics isn't easy (I'm assuming almost all of the difference is aerodynamic drag). The real question is: Did...

That fork does look like a That fork does look like a very interesting starting point. I can't tell if it's steel either and I'm a little concerned those tabs wouldn't be ideal for the front triangle, but I'm willing to bet something could be worked out (even as extreme as fiberglass and carbon...

I agree with Ivan. Nicely I agree with Ivan. Nicely done and very practical for commuting. Your rack is very helpful as it holds some of the weight and makes sure it stays out of the wheel.
