    "The New Silvio is Coming"

Could a water bladder fit in the 'bulge' on the seat back...there seems to be a hole coming out of the bottom of the bulge, as well as on the other side (partially cut off by the top of the pic) for the drinking tube? Or maybe just a drain hole and internal cable entry point on the other side...

    "The New Silvio is Coming"

With more storage capacity it seems like a touring version of the S30, with wider tire options also giving it the ability to go on dirt roads and trails.

    "The New Silvio is Coming"

With the seat more upright, and looks like rack attachments for rack that can be mounted above rear wheel, as well as a possible rack attachment below the seat back (partially obstructed by a blade of grass) for mounting storage below seat?

    "The New Silvio is Coming"

The seat does seem to be less laid back, and what is that less than flat seat back that seems to bulge out...storage space?

I use a Parktool PCS10, usually clamp it on the seat back post: Edit: I should have mentioned that it is clamped this way when I am working on the boom (I work on my boom alot with my steering moded X100 and soon to be moded Q):

    Replace SofRider with QX100?

Having miles upon miles on both a Q559 and X100 I'm saying these are great bikes for me:D. I'm into commuting, adventure cycling, and touring. No experience with a Sofrider. But still saying both the Q559 and X100 are great and I will not be letting them go:cool:. Being a touring rider I have...

QX100 Touring and Commuting Rack Extendors

Those extenders were provided for the early version of the rack. The recent version has a longer arm so the extenders are not needed to attach the rack except in your case with the seat back angle set lower... maybe some extenders may be available. Or find brackets at hardware store or online...

    QX100 Steering Mod

Here is pic of current state of my Q559. I am acquiring parts and sandpaper to sand the slider tube to fit. I'm in no hurry, but really I am!? Again thanks to all who added options to this mod as I will see what parts I can acquire and what works for me.;) . .

    QX100 Steering Mod

To continue my testing on what I want to change I moved the brake levers to the origin8 drops, and will adjust up or down during ride testing. I will then take measurements and select handlebars, starting on the postings of handlebar mods posted on this forum...Thanks to you all for posting...

    Seat Mod

Pic of side by side comparison of ICE mesh (left, with the hard seat bracket) and ICE hard (right) headrest frame length (that I found trolling the NET): And pics of the ICE hard seat headrest bracket (in comparison to the pics I posted above of the mesh seat bracket): Note: The link...

    Seat Mod

If ordering directly from ICE, maybe they could include the longer neckrest frame that comes with the mesh version with the hard seat mounting bracket. Both the mesh and hard seat brackets adjust the neckrest vertically, but when the mesh seat bracket is mounted on a hard seat it cannot adjust...

    Seat Mod

I have used both the ADEM and ICE neckrest, and both worked for me, although I have not used either on extended rides. One note, if ordering the ICE neckrest, the length of the support arm is different for the hard seat and the mesh seat versions. The length for the mesh seat version is 10...

    QX100 Steering Mod

Pics are with my flat bars and curved bar ends to simulate road bars in threes hand positions. Note: when I recline the seat back to a lower position I also extend the slider tube out to keep the approximate position as these pics show. My replacement road bars will be about 2 inches shorter in...

    Emmit Smith's Grand Fondo

In any race, ride, outing we all make choices within a set of guidelines:eek: set up by those who are running the show. If it is within the rules to allow any type of HPV:), then it would be up to me, my choice and skill with my chosen steed, as well as my fitness level. If I'm older but choose...

    Quest 451 to 507

Note that with the seat more forward, then the seat pan angle increases slightly. It is not a problem, but it's on my list to put some kind of wedge between the seat pan and pad to see what that does for me. One thing is that it will raise me a little higher so the reach to the ground at a...

    Quest 451 to 507

Yes, the handshake position is what I like, this adding the bar ends as you are thinking. In your March 18 2016 posting the I notice that your seat is back more than my seat. With your seat back your legs would be closer to the bars, although putting the seat more forward would make you needing...
