    Posting video clips

I think the only way to do it I think the only way to do it is to embed a video by clicking on the alt="embed button" button and entering code wrapped in <iframe> tags. YouTube allows you to do this easily by selecting "Share" below the video player window and selecting "Embed". The code you...

Could the Quest use the V20/S30 boom?

I'd ask Doug. If anyone has I'd ask Doug. If anyone has tried it, it's probably him. If you're looking at trying this and you buy a V20 just to have the front end, I'll buy the main frame off of you. ;-)

    Direct drive recumbent.

7kg = ~15.4lbs Despite the weight, that is a very clever design. I'd certainly like to give it a try just to see how it compares to the MBB configuration that I am used to. Regarding the frame...broken carbon hockey sticks? Who would have ever thought? :)

    Vendetta V20

FSA Bearings Part II I'm familiar with external bottom bracket bearings, but I was slightly confused about Robert's comment about FSA bearing cups being "dead flat". I was picturing an external BB cup without a notched tool interface, but that isn't the case. Robert means that the "shoulders"...

Chainstays Clamp to the BB Unless I'm mistaken, it looks like they clamp to the external BB cups. Cue to 0:25 of the video.

    Vendetta V20

Hey Eric I watched the SRAM Type 2 Derailleur video in which Robert is touting the virtues of the cage lock button. I can't help but think that your write-up on this same feature was likely instrumental in Cruzbike making the decision to specify these derailleurs. Just another great...

    Recumbent cycle- con show

I'll bet it was a great time. I'll bet it was a great time. The Parker's are a truly outstanding couple. I had the fortune of getting to know them; it would have been great to drop by and see them once again. if you took any pictures, Cruzbike or otherwise, I'm sure many of us would love to see...

    Vendetta V20

Getting a Tighter Cockpit Eric, I had the same thoughts about the cockpit when comparing the V20 to the V2.0. Perhaps cutting down the fork steerer tube is the method by which you can bring the bars closer to the body. The people at Cruzbike are making decisions that balance business with...

    Vendetta V20

Branding With Color Cycles of Color A true Bianchi wears only celeste, Gios will always be blue. A proper Vendetta is yellow, I'll bet you thought this would rhyme.

    New Silvio build.

Handlebar I have the Origin 8 Gary handlebar, which came with my Silvio. It offers plenty of hand positions and is more than wide enough to prevent interference between my awesomely-powerful quads and the bar itself.

    Vendetta V20

Thanks, Lief Now I'm hypnotized! I can't stop looking at your animated GIF. Something inside tells me "buy a Vendetta, buy a Silvio, buy a Vendetta...". I think you're in cahoots with the folks at Cruzbike and you're dabbling in subliminal advertising. ;-)

It grew on me... I stepped away from the office, came back and now I like it. Go figure.

There are a few 2.0's left There are a few 2.0's left, but it's a shame I won't be able to get my hands on one. I imagine these will be grabbed rather quickly since they're the last of the series. :(

    Vendetta V20

Interesting It does lose quite a bit aesthetically, but maybe it will grow on us. I think it looks out of balance without the large-diameter boom and the polished fork. To me, it looks as someone cobbled together a Vendetta/Silvio hybrid out of a parts bin, albeit a well-stocked one. I do...

    Boom creeping forward

Trplay Thanks for the information about the "double clamp". But wouldn't that only work if the clamps were both positioned over the slotted area of the external boom tube?

    Boom creeping forward

He did lengthen the slot. How would adding a second clamp help? Not being a smart ass, I'm curious. Also, would it be acceptable to use carbon paste on the boom slider to improve friction between the two components?
