    Proof of Upper Body Engagement

I don't think that anyone who rides a Cruzbike needs to be convinced, but after riding my Cruzbike Silvio after an almost five month hiatus, I can testify to the upper body engagement that riding a Cruzbike commands. You know that feeling of the day after lifting weights for the first time...

A Silvio of a Different Colour

Thanks for the compliments. Thanks for the compliments. I'm happy with how it turned out so far and it does give new life to a frame that was looking a bit tired. I might just be satisfied until I can get my hands of an S30. The new ones are just so much more refined.

Logos Yes! I am going to order some custom decals from DoItYourselfLettering.com. Their stuff looks really good and I hear that customer service is top-notch. I'll probably just have a "Cruzbike" decal made for each side of the main tube.

    Back on the Silvio Again

Before moving to Washington from South Carolina in July of this year, I had to disassemble my Silvio in order to find room for it in the moving van. My intention was to have the tired paint job replaced with a vibrant powdercoat and then rebuild the Silvio as soon as I could. Well...

A Silvio of a Different Colour

All done The Green Silvio Rides Again Two photos of my Silvio ready for it's first roll since July. It's been a long time coming, but everything came together at once with the help and generosity of a couple members of the "Cruzbike Community". I am truly thankful for the help in getting my...

About the fork... I don't recommend powdercoating the fork. When I first got the Silvio, the shock would leak after hitting a bump and would completely flatten out. Over time, that ceased to occur and the shock held pressure. The fork is back to leaking again. :( No worries...

ESSAX Saddle I thought there was no way that saddle is for real. Is it? I think they misspelled the name...ArseAxe seems more appropriate.

Ouch! It's as if it was designed for that specific purpose. Unless it's a ladies saddle.

There are more holes in it I'll bet the seat comes that way. Just like the original Silvio's seat (back in the day when they were aluminum) the pairs of holes on the side should be spaced for mounting water bottle cages. It's nice to know that Cruzbike has some spares for sale. I...

And what is with that droopy I know, right? That's the only thing I could focus on. Clearly it's an effort to making sitting on an ass hatchet a little more bearable.

Help with Silvio 1.0 setup please

"This bike cannot guarantee a We're all entitled to our opinions and some rides will have very different experiences, but I have to respectfully disagree with your opinion. As for "legs fighting the steering", that is something that I initially dealt with until I learned to relax and use my...

More Photos? Hi Bruce. Thanks for sharing, but I'd love to see the seat in greater detail. Is it truly carbon fiber? Is it finished on both sides?

Actually, Velcro comes from downed weather balloons. I wouldn't have thought Velcro was up to the task. Good to know!

Classy Looking Bike When I see that shade of green, it makes me think of a proper touring bike with a Brooks saddle and leather handlebar tape. However, this Cruzbike seat is a much nicer place to sit than a Brooks. Speaking of seats, how do you affix the Ventisit pad to the seat pan?
