    Impossible to edit posts

I've been seeing this issue as long as I've been using the forum. At least 90% of the time when I click the "Edit" button on one of my forum posts to correct some mistake, the resulting page first loads a "Comment" editing box containing HTML tags, then a fraction of a second later, the box...

    my silvio journey

Congratulations, James! Very Congratulations, James! Very nice bike. In the first photo it looks like the FD cable is zip-tied to the boom in a couple of places, any particular reason for that?

Mobius ActionCam on a Cruzbike Silvio 2

I thought you were going to I thought you were going to die around 4:02. I can see why you might want the camera. Is it good enough to pick up license plate numbers (I have a hard time making them out in the YouTube video)?

    Insert inside the Elastomer hole

    2) I did the same thing I Mine does not fit in the hole the "right" way and John Tolhurst instructed me to put it in the the "wrong" way instead. So I don't think you should get hung up on right/wrong ways for this part, but I agree that the instructions should be clearer and further that...

    Please Review My Build List

Don't get the Zefal Spring Seconding the Lezyne recommendation, I too switched from Zefal after losing a bottle. Exciting, I would certainly be interested in a bag designed for my Silvio 2.0.

    Please Review My Build List

The SRAM WiFLi appeals to me That's the combo I have, works pretty well. With no chainstay extension at least, I cannot tune the bike to shift the the small chainring/smallest cog combo (cross chaining) without some rubbing on the FD cage, but why would I want to do that anyway?

HR Clamps (Silvio 2.0 Manual page 4 )

Bob, my interpretation is Bob, my interpretation is that there should be two holes in the seat back, and the two clamps should bolt onto those. There are holes in the seatback pictured at the top of page 4. These clamps are a recent addition, my Silvio 2.0 doesn't have them.

    Silvio 2.0 Repair Stand Question

FYI, here is a picture of my FYI, here is a picture of my Silvio on a repair stand, clamped by the boom. Both wheels are off the ground (although the back wheel is close). This was originally posted to my thread http://cruzbike.com/last-first-ride-my-silvio-2.0.

Mechanic didn't "get" cable run and rigged front derailleur routing

From the Silvio product page, From the Silvio product page, these photos are out of date since there is a hole on newer frames below the bottom bracket that removes a kink from the cable, but they may be useful: http://cruzbike.com/PhotosSilvioFDcableRouting.pdf See also page 10 of...

Mechanic didn't "get" cable run and rigged front derailleur routing

The only barrel adjuster that The only barrel adjuster that is needed is welded onto the frame and is visible in your third photo. Did your mechanic add another one under the bottom bracket...? I see no reason for the amount of complexity added here. Also you missed the part of Andrew's...

    It arrived

This picture doesn't show This picture doesn't show where the barrel adjuster goes (on the boom). Maybe including it would have helped. It also appears to show the cable housing (fatter purple line) positioned Ivan-style (stopping at rather than going through the hole near the bottom...

    Silvio assembly - lubrication/grease/

Jake, if that's a question Jake, if that's a question for me, I've been using regular bike grease on everything except the chain and cables -- just following advice from friends.

Where exactly does the boom clamp go?

I was quoted almost $200 for I was quoted almost $200 for recumbent assembly by a well-known local bike shop (not much more than their recumbent tuneup cost), but was told it would depend on the difficulty level. I opted to do the assembly myself and I'm glad I did.

    Fast Uphill Fun

I too was really impressed I too was really impressed with how light the Silvio 2.0 frame tube felt, out of the box. Only the suspension fork felt heavy.

    Table Stand

Cool! I'm a little worried Cool! I'm a little worried about your grip tape resting on those cut wood edges. Maybe some padding in between?

    Silvio 2.1 Arrived!

Ivan, it looks like there Ivan, it looks like there have been plenty of changes since our Silvio 2.0's. The instruction manual now shows clamps that look like they bolt onto the seat back above where the HF tube ends, and clamp the seat back onto the headrest legs/posts. I guess Jack is missing...
