Perhaps there is an audio book that I can listen to whilst I train on one of the 255 minute training rides.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Well my practice track just went under water. Three days of hellish rain. Looks like I am up the spout. Apparently worst in 70 years. Guess a week out is really going to muck my stats up. Anyways it is what it is. I'll let rip on the mountain bike. New year resolution. Buy a trainer.

I'll post a pic and it's not my bum. Oddly enough it's a failed attempt but only just a failure. Can you guess what I have been trying to do? Emmm the extender plate is aluminum ... Well thick with shims inserted toe and aft. The look cleat doesn't fit on the extender as it isn't flat. I...

Well i have a normal round ring 52t that i Will fit with a 11:25t and then I won't need to spend anything. It's just the daisy cutter is the bollocks. You need a real steep hill to spin out on that.

At the moment the bike has 54t:36t daisy cutter q ring up front and a 11:32t Cassette combo and since the weather still hasn't settled I might as well change it over to a 52t q ring and 11:28t combo. As everything effects else I guess I will have to take a link or two out of the chain. I know...

    Little tweaks

I just started to work with carbon fiber. Rick ... You are one mighty clever man! Prep is key with this stuff and it helps to have another pair of plastic gloves to put over the sticky ones in case you make a mess. Early days yet. Pretty sure I can improve my average speed by 15%. (What...

Finally booked up with Airbnb from the 9th to the 12th in Sebring ... 10 minutes from the track and walking distance to a groceries. Thinking about flat packing the bike and carrying my carbon wheelset in a big base drum case with my other belongings and toolset. (Even bringing my torque...

Funny... Even I am contemplating that. You over there have a polar vortex and this year we have a very strange condition over the Mediterranean ... The sea is really warm and there is an area of cold air in the higher atmosphere. There are tornadoes in the Mediterranean and huge clouds with...

Ok... I am keeping tabs on Bob's schedule. I haven't got an indoor trainer but I can follow my uploaded rides with the TSS but how do you get to see the IF? What is this magic term?

Talking of which... When is it good to meet up with the tribe? I am down at Sebring from the 9th. I am giving it a dummy run but not flat out. I think it's good to see the area where you have to throw your token in midway and have a visualization of the state of the road. I don't usually draft...

I was thinking of using Ride with GPS at Sebring but it's not too good. Guess everyone is right into their garmins. Does a garmin give you an audible cue? Guess I am a rookie? I played with it today... And if I followed it I would have lost the race.

Did you notice if it did anything to knee height? Did your knees go higher after moving your cleats back. I suspect they went lower.

Where is everyone staying? Are you all in the hotel by the track? Guess it must be almost full? If so. Just might rent an RV On a lighter note. I have been reading about how much easier it is to recover with mid cleat positioned cycling shoes. Harder to accelerate but more top power and suited...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Started to increase time and distance. Over 110km issues with left leg. Looking at a wedge adjustment , thinking that might get rid of the pull. It just feels as though I had my left leg in traction. So listened to various bike fit experts but don't like spending a fortune on experts who don't...

Farther, Faster, Fitter, Fun - (4F - The unofficial Cruzbike training team and support group)

LOL. Cycling for 90 minutes is nothing like cycling for 180 minutes... I am out today to buy some compression socks. I also seemed to have overstretched my left leg hamstrings going up a ramp at 26mph... Just feel great at the moment... the day after is a different story.

    Greetings Cruzers

I forgot to mention, the V20 is 5 MPH after the distance of a 1000 miles. (That should increase my performance in February)

    Greetings Cruzers

Yes the V20 is a faster bike but I prefer the yellow colour as there a lot of crazy motorists where I live. I quite often see bunches of flowers by the road side. I think from what people have said the V20 is 5 mph faster than the v2. So the only way to compete with the v20 is to work on the...

Eric, That is a gorgeous bike... well done and congratulations. When I saw it, I could not believe how immaculate it was... Your rides will really be quite a hoot!
