    I'm looking for a s40 (2017-2020) frameset

I can’t remember an s40 frame set for sale except for the Cruzbike warehouse clearance sale items. Full s40s are fairly rare also. In addition to wheels, you need road brake levers and callipers, road shifters, bottom bracket, cranks, chain ring, and cassette. If you still need some of these...

Post mount caliper on Vendetta possible?

Not a Vendetta nor V20 however for the 2019 s40: It has IS mount, I installed trp spyre SLC calliper with the 140 adapter that came with it on the rear and 160 on the front drive wheel. Then I added my qx100 wheels with rotors that match. Front good, rear calliper rubbing the spokes no matter...

Cable Actuated Disc brake caliper set up process

Agreed Michael, You have captured the idea of the squeeze brake lever method, used by the pros, mechanics, time-strapped, and experienced, in a way that is useable to us non- time strapped, non-professionals. Pro tip: I'm not sure how you tried it but using the lever on the brake calliper is...

The G4 Bicycle , Potential MBB/Cruzbike Diversification Candidate?

In the pictures above there seems to be a fair amount of "death-grip". I wonder if that is due to initial learning of MBB or if there is more that we don't know about the handling of this bike. Of course rake/trail, tiller, and MBB all are going to have significant impact on steering and handling.

Tobin Mini-Pannier - attach to rear of headrest?

I saw the new mini-pannier in the email blast sent out by Cruzbike. It looks as though it could attach to the rear of the headrest between the velcro of the standard headrest. If/once I get one to try it I'll post pictures. If you look at the below product pictures it appears as though the...

READ: Chainstay Clamps PSA and PRO Tip

@Robert Holler (2019 S40) Can you advise on troubleshooting the boom wanting to not be lined up straight with the frame? I tighten chain stay clamps evenly, then boom clamp, then slider/headset clamp, then tighten quick release and the quick release clamp applies a torque to everything. If I...

    Creaking in my Front End...

@MrSteve What's TFT stand for? I'm pretty sure it is not the boom/slider itself that has been suggested to be lubricated by several posters, but rather the threads of the bolts that fasten the clamps. And spokes don't have to be broken to make weird sounds, differences in tension or many...

Disc wheel with disc brake, not rim brake?

FWIW (For What It's Worth): Rubber cement stuck velcro to the Cruzbike carbon seat as well using peanut butter to attach shaving mirror to the shower wall. That is, it made a bit of a mess, did not hold usefully at all, but was relatively easy to clean up. Neither wet and stick nor wet each...

Thank you @chicorider. I'll have to pick up some more velcro to apply along with your knowledge and experience.

Similar texture but it would not be tough enough for heavy shoe traffic. It appears the same as the washable filter for a fish pond.

    Homebuild - Super V15

Tweaks to get fit just right is normal for any bike. A Cruzbike (yours included) has many interacting elements to adjust and getting them set is part of the early process. One day you will wake up and say to yourself. Wow, I haven’t adjusted anything in a while. And that will mean that you...

    They stole my Silvio

This is a paraphrase of @Maria Parker’s explanation when I asked about the new seat pad compared with the old Q and T seat pads that I use daily and compared with the ventisit. “The new seat pad comes in one piece. It is completely washable and can be taken apart and reassembled relatively...

    Benphyr’s Bodacious Build 2019 s40 - questions

Spoiler Alert: My 2019 s40 frame set (This thread is for questions I have that you can probably answer without me taking up Robert Holler’s valuable time. Another thread will capture the build itself. ) (warehouse clearance so someone previously ordered it at minimum- probably built it)...

    Triple Crank on S30? Help

I just installed a square taper Camagnolo bottom bracket and triple crankset on a 2019 s40. And it spins great with about 2-3 mm clearance to those tabs that @Doug Burton is talking about with the pictured 30/42/52 so you will likely need to trim them from your 24 tooth granny chainring if yours...

CruzBike Cameo! - My First YouTube Video

Fun video @Leif I like the transitions that go from riding to walking to reaching the top of the hill at the end. Constructive feedback: I found the earlier zooming and quick panning shits a bit too fast for me to follow on my old phone.

Gates Carbon Drive + Geared Hub

I too hope that one day have I can have the perfect low maintenance commuter Cruzbike with internal gearing and belt drive. However, recumbents are a niche market. Within recumbents internal hub gearing would be some smaller portion. So the potential market is unlikely be large enough to...
