I’m pretty sure that picture shows the giant cruzbike name on the back where it will never be seen. I like the look of the jersey but I wish we had more stuff showing off the name of the company (unless the name is spoonerizing to “Zz Bike Cru” but that would be way off topic of this thread...

I see you have already posted in the marketplace to buy a replacement seat back. There are several who have upgraded their seats so there are probably some available. Some even tgat are brand new. If you get one of those you might want to get the seat bottom so you have a full one without wear...

Correct: there is only one mounting bracket on the seat post. The two red arrows on the left rear of the seat back are for mounting a bottle cage (or similar) to the seat back and should not affect strength of the seat. I cannot tell what the other red arrows are pointing at from the picture...

I could have channelled my inner Vendettas with ATP Propane last night if I had that up the later hills. The earlier hills I would gave blown up though I think. The drink would have been too heady early in the ride.

If one was building from a frame set wheel size with disc brakes could be virtually whatever you want especially if you build your own wheels.

I agree. Each model does its raison d’être exceptionally well. The s40 does s40 things (eg. touring racks) better than the s30, the Q45 does Q things (adjustable seat, price point, large tires) better, etc. What the s30 has that is both sought after and its reason to be replaced with the 40 are...
