Ditto but couldn't get to grips with that handlebar

That was interesting. Yes XXCycles are out of 25mm but I did notice there are two types of 28' being sold, one for rim size 23mm and one for rim size 28mm.

Vendetta versus Silvio on less-than-ideal road surfaces

When I lived in Perth, I had something called a steak burger. It was a thick piece of lean steak with plenty of salad and relish. You Ozzies know how to do it. I use to do 4 hours of windsurfing down at Freo and I was after that; completely knackered. Afterwards, I would just feel the energy...

Gee wizz.... That's a lot of wheels. It's a bit surprising. I would have thought the zip with Ican CF with Pro One would have been the best. That Ican wheelset looks well smart. I tried to buy some pro one's today but everywhere in Europe seems to be sold out, unless of course you wanted the...

    Mark's V20

Hey Mark, Nice bike! I have the same wheel set; great value! Your tires look quite thin so I guess you pumped them up really high? You might find with 28mm you get a more enjoyable ride. Couldn't quite see the pedals but in the beginning stages I would not want to clip in. You might prefer...

    New and Improved Headrest Clamp

Hey Jason, I will have one of those for sure! It's a no brainer

Ok... Been a bit long getting back on this bike , I pumped the tires up to 100psi but I think I will go with 90psi as the images of cars in the mirror are blurred in places where the road was rough. I was pleased with the front rim as I was a little apprehensive in the wind. Easter is early...

I just love the crossing swords transfer, it would be great to get an extra transfer and put them on the side of the bike as well (so a bit higher up). After all that's mainly what you see in every photo.

Matej , team secret, don't compare yourself to anyone. All that matters is how you are to your Self. Sure eat well. You wont go far wrong with Joe's recommendation. What's probably more important is setting yourself some realistic goals and when you achieve them, treat yourself to something...

Vendetta versus Silvio on less-than-ideal road surfaces

Haaaaa yes it was a little too curved to go tubeless so I got a lighter tire and inner tube. I still use the DT Swiss rim tape as it stops those annoying pinch flats when the inner tube gets caught on the spoke hole - only if the tape moves. The rear is tubeless

Well if the tires aren't punching out on the edges of the rim, were they difficult to put on the wheel in the first place? You might just need to take the tire on and off a couple of times even if it will make you angry. Then there is the silicon paste stuff that you use in bathrooms. put that...

Hard case storage box under the seat

The thing is the vendetta is a long wheel base. I would be interested to to know if Jason gets any stress marks on the box as the bike flexes. Carboard is a more forgiving than carbon. The box for this area of the bike is going to be two parts sandwiched together so why not make the box flex...

Larry, I wonder if you can get a disc brake with this wheel? I have read a number of reports that rim brakes and carbon wheels have an issue with long down hills. If you do decide to use rim brakes with carbon wheels; its better to just jab the brakes now and then, instead of keeping them...

Awesome... Are your S-Ones tubeless? If they are you probably dropped the pressure a tad to make it more confortable? Also Rick do you notice a significant difference? For me when I first got the Vendetta, I went out with 23mm tires fully pumped up and after coming back I thought I would have...

    Carbon Fiber Fun

Sorry about your brother in law. Your carbon creations are great. I use plastic zip ties to support my iPhone holder on one of my bikes but the sun and vibrations weaken them so consequently I have to keep changing them. It's quite amazing how much air rushes over you at speed on the V. So I...

I will have to buy you a drink, if I ever see you. That was a great solution. I also used the orange sealant first time. I think it's probably the best sealant there is. With the carbon clincher rim, I will put an inner tube with sealant just for safety's sake.

Any CruzBikers competing in the Race Across the West aka RAW?

Naaaa do it the easy way. Post a package to you on route. Pick it up on route and post back anything you don't need. Or you could buy new shirts and shorts on the way and post them back just so you don't have to carry so much. Or do what the Canadian did in the film "TransAm" and post the meal...
