    V20 finding that fit

fwiw: I think current thinking is you can get more power with your feet pointed straight up, which is also why some cyclist are moving toward center of the shoe cleat attachment.

    V20 finding that fit

S0 that is what we are shooting for: 150 degrees? You did not fell like you "other" knee was bent too much since you brought everything in an inch or so? Next - you can consider changing your cleat to mount to the center of you shoe - I know some strong bent riders that swear by that method...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Rode Jepson today - it was easier than I thought it would be, so I increased the total% by 1% each of intervals 2, 3, & 4. It's amazing when you do little sprints at 150% FTP how much "easier" the 100% FTP feels. Strava said my estimate power is up 5% over the last 4 weeks. See...

    V20 finding that fit

Note: Make sure the level is Vendetta yellow and has been adequately chilled in garage at <40 degree F before using. ;)

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Me thinks you enter and race the 12-hour with us, then just keep going. That way you prove your dominance in the 12- hr sprint, and the 24-hr TT!

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

I have just been emailing back and forth with Marko. He is hoping for 3-4 strong riders that can join with him and try and break 300 for the 12-hours. So far there is Kevin, myself, and Jim Verheul (JV) (who rides a Bachetta I think) - I'm trying to find out if Kurt (Tarzan) is coming, and have...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

I personally found it easier to find the tube and pull out of my cycling shorts when I taped it just below the top to the right. Then it is easy to pull out and "aim" at the side of the road - or other riders if possible :D:p! Just kidding of course since you would tape it to your left...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Dread is right - Oh man - I can hardly walk after doing 50-60 rpm intervals at such high wattage! (Excuse me while this old man goes and gets some icepacks for his knees!) This should make the rest of the workouts this week seem nice

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Inclement weather in central Florida in February is most likely just "cold" air. My first Sebring; 2 years ago started and finished at about 30 degrees. It was pretty horrible, especially the night session. I was unprepared in every sense of the word! Of course heavy rain is also no fun -...

    Daydreaming of upgrades

It is the Bomb - just don't over tighten the "outer rings" that hold it in place. As for brakes - I just find they slow me down :D - however they are a necessary evil when stopping is mandatory. (Using the shoes like Fred Flintstone gets rather expensive) It would be nice to really know what the...

Oops, I did it again... Introducing the Folding CruziTandem

Great job! Just reaching out on a limb here, but my guess it is cold there! :D Oh yeah, and I really like how you are "thinking" ahead - already got the cranks ready for when you convert into FWD-MBB-built-for-3!;)

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

Buy (ride) 1, get 2 free! Still not a very good trade! Disaster - looks like something right down Jason's alley though!

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

There is "Tray Mountain" next week - How much different could it be!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Besides I am so rested now after this easy week - time to go and crush something.:D

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

It's warm here now for riding outside - I'll test one with a ride up Mount Mitchell for you if you send it to me! :)

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

Quickest fix is to just ty-wrap the fork and chainstay together. Some have been know to epoxy them - but the tied wraps work pretty well, are cheap and easy to take off if needed.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

I wish I would have got this "note" on Sunday - I did this ride on Monday - avg cadence was 80 - which is "way" low for me. Might have partly been because it was 40 degrees in my garage too. I just did not want to pedal fast at all. It still felt pretty relaxing and not hard though. Today's...

Farther, Faster, Fitter, Fun - (4F - The unofficial Cruzbike training team and support group)

I fall over too much in the "wild", I would hate to see me fall down in my garage!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

I encourage you to come. You wont regret it. It is likely to be the largest group of Cruzbikes ever seen before in the world! What Cruzbiker would not want to be a part of that if at all possible!

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

Sorry guys - My free trial expired with Zwift and I really have to watch my monthly outlay right now (Already got rid of TP paid version and am only on Strava Premium with a free promotion right now. :( ) Also, I am really trying to stick with the Sebring training plan that Bob put together -...

Farther, Faster, Fitter, Fun - (4F - The unofficial Cruzbike training team and support group)

I have the same issue - I think you can spin faster with smaller cranks, but it also matters what gear you are in with the KICKR. If you have it in a smaller cog, you will get more inertial effect from the flywheel which I think also helps you be able to keep the cadence high. I used to be able...
