Probable option B - not used to it yet. At first it is easier to control with pedalling at lower rpm because your brain has more time to react. Ince you are reprogrammed the ideal rpm will creep back towards what it is/was on the old bike. (The above is my hypothesis. )
@superslim or others: Any thoughts on sag between the two sizes on a QX100. And/or effects one would notice because of changes in headset angle/rake/trail?
If you put a smaller wheel or even a smaller tire on the rear you would probably make up the difference in geometry caused by the larger...
. Silly question maybe but isn’ a quick link used to pu a chain together so if it broke a couple down from the link couldn't you remove the two links and lump home on a short chain. I’m sure you would have if you could. There must be something I’m missing.
My race last night saw me starting with MPA of around 700 and getting down to mid 200s very close to crashing out. That was on very fresh legs an easy week and probably not enough racing for Cert to have quite accurate maximum numbers to work with. That was earlier in the TTT - at the final...
Thank you. I had the same experience with needing to have an Xert workout running. It didn't lag for me last night but did have a larger smoothing interval. Last night was the first time I have been able to get it to work - that MPA gauge seems pretty interesting. I'm definitely going to...
I often feel like it might be good to take a short pull half-way through the rotation, especially when we have 8 riders but even with 6 so I am interested in trying the half-minute pulls that were mentioned once I think by @RojoRacing. It would exaggerate the need to be ready to pull at your...
A little thread to capture things that pertain to Herd of Killer Bees :emoji_bee: Racing Team since it seems we have pretty consistent Cruzbikers: @benphyr, @ccooper, @ccf, and @LarryOz forming half of our team most weeks.
That seems nice and smooth and watchable.
Is there a lag between the Zwift power and the Xert power display? Did you prepare target intervals for the Xert workout or how does that work? Having different parts of the screen in different places (for example the slope bit front and centre) did...
For a different explanation of how to get set up for the TTT I found @ratz post linked below to be very helpful: https://forum.cruzbike.com/threads/flight-of-the-flamingos.13245/page-2#post-160571
No worries. I don’t mind being beat at the line. I am actually pleasantly surprised that I can be in contention at all. Though I have some advantages in age over some of you my experience racing is pretty limited.
That is pretty neat. Without someone commentating to tell what I am looking at I found it a little difficult to follow the action as it flips between views. I had to watch the finish a bunch of times to figure out what you meant by “turn it orange” (high watt/kg that zwift turns the text orange...
@markciccio I’m curious, how much does the gREVel frame, front triangle and seat weigh? Not sure what it weighs but the Cruzbike S40 is probably the closest thing - it would be an interesting comparison to the S40.
My inner sooth-sayer sees much potential for exhaustion distraction road-rash in your future. Bring balance to the force young Jedi LarryOz you will... er wishing you balance in the all-out efforts CruzMaster LarryOz.
That’s some nice scenery you are riding through. That’s one of the reasons I would usually ride ‘bents, it aims our eyes at the scenery instead of the asphalt. Even on a time trial I see much of the scenery.
There is no limit to the character you display in your posts.
What about the “sharp” edges to the bottom of the carbon fibre seat pan and seat back? Do they affect aerodynamics?
My very favourite part of your pictures came stock - that lightning fast sizzling blue.
