New to CruzBike and considering a purchase of the V20 frameset

Ditto and I'm on 155mm at 5'9' with 45" xseam; 153mm are kind of the porage is just right for people in the 5'10" and 42-44" range.

    V20 finding that fit

Ok so that puts you within the range of accuracy <8mm off and roughly 150 degree would match with being just a hair long What length cranks?

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

For those that missed it great news. E-Tap is now shipping with the WifLi rear derailler; so native 11-32T cassette; and 11-36T with goatlink adapter; and perhaps even a 40T with other kits and tricks.....

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Word received today the factory has corrected the problem with 90mm carbon wheels and tubeless. Manufacturing is occurring and maybe just maybe I'll have them with me for Sebring

    V20 finding that fit

Mostly...... The height of rider will make that "vertical position" be relative. The shorter you are compared to someone else riding the same length chain-stay the higher your BB will be; and thus the more vertical you foot will appear. What you are really saying is foot perpendicular to the...

    V20 finding that fit

Yep we've reviewed that before; height of BB relative to the rider effects what is "perceived" as point toys. See this thread for the pictures. http://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/ankling-foot-position-as-affected-by-boom-crank-and-chainstay-length.11420/#post-128950

    V20 finding that fit

Yes that's considered the optimal for the power stroke; it leaves enough play for ankling under different loads; and for "pumping" the bike under the rider left and right which translates well to the pumping of the MBB that Jim Promotes. Nope felt natural but that's one ride; I plan to give it...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Depends on the distance. I'm shipping from the middle of the country so it's usually $75-80 so CA to FL $125 sounds about right. The box is pricey but it's beefy good for at least 4-5 round trips. They are a small shop might not hurt to call them and tell them you shipping needs; they might...

    V20 finding that fit

Results. Much more power on the ride; better anchor into the seat for power. Same results for Pluckblond but her legs are NSFW so you get mine instead with the math verification for the magic 150degrees for fit.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Best case I've found on spec is the B&W I'm still trying to find a US dealer that carries them but haven't had a ton of time to research it. http://www.b-w-international.com/product/bike-case/ Jim Parker has used this one...

    V20 finding that fit

Ok here's an audience participation exercise. I would like to see how other people current setups compare to the following calculations This assumes the straight Boom/Slider for the boom length calculation. This assumes the Stock seat pan for the boom position calculation. Boom length has...

Ol'Yellow get a New Facelift after 11.6K Miles

Now when you get this all distilled make sure you make the short and easy to understand summary. I'm following allow but barely. :)

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

You will have to occasionally double check it; mine slipped after about 500 miles; wasn't tight enough

Rocker washers are not unique to Avid; you can use them with the TRP brakes and you can buy them separately Did you try that?

    QX100 Steering Mod

Common wisdom would be that the hinge will be a weak point that will degrade and eventually fail from the MBB boom forces. And probably fail in some dramatic fashion under load. That would be my guess. I think John T wrote some thoughts along those lines a long time ago.

Did you try using the black mounting bracket from the rear wheel on the front brake?

Rain-X the outside of your sunglasses; and fog-x the inside. If the rain is sticking to your glasses; pedal faster
