What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Rest week comes to an end. Preliminary block results shows a 11 watt FTP increase since my planned December layoff. Legs have recovered. Recovery week only cost me 2 CTL fitness points. That's about as dialed in as I every get it; we will chalk that one down as a success. It's good to be rested...

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

Indeed; it's a 4 donut workout. I like to point to that one for the over confident. it's part of "the man plan"

Well if you want to be smarty pants and want to crush something go read up on the ride called "Disaster" and if you're are itching to do Mitchell; just ride the one call "Epic Blue Ridge". If you can finish Disaster you can skip Tray, Jepson and Collins.

I just notice you are using your mount black brackets the reverse of how I did. I have the offset one on the front and the equal sided one on the back.

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

Here you go: https://www.strava.com/clubs/bent-zwift More riders if we appeal to all the bent riders. Somebody can make a logo; I'm a bit swamped to do that for a week or two I'll make Jason and Hardy admins great place to schedule races and group rides, right in the strava club and that...

Inside the old stay where it connects to the BB there are two metal collar sleeves; did you pull them out and install them in the new stay?

Finally something worthy of a winter project. Gotta get these figured out and mounted before Sebring. Need to wait for them to thaw out as well.

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

Wednesday ride as Larry noted hardly makes it worth getting dressed as it's only 30 minutes. So to add some benefits I decided to at least get warmed up from it. So (1) no water (2) no fan (3) Target Cadence of 115 (4) Little Ring (36Tx19T) the whole way. That made it a little more...

    1) Used Waxed the chain so it's easy to remove without a mess 2) Crack chain remove 3) bike off trainer and insert wheel 4) Reinstall chain IF the bike front end is square and true the front end will stay together. Only the force of the derailleur spring can mess you up; with the chain removed...

LOL don't encourage him; it's a long fostered image..... Former Motorcylce crash tester; usually Mr Steve knows something the rest of us don't or it's from a previous head strike :emoji_ambulance:. What you can't see is him smirking at you with a gleam in his eye to determine which it is.

Climbing and bb height, low gears

Hi Cliff, Nope just repeating a common point that needs to be made about understanding that there are different limiters on a Recumbent... What I am saying is that the average person can lean a recumbent further into a corner and at higher speed than same said person could a DF. (focus being...
