The guys I blew by were stunned, this is one crazy bike.

Re: The guys I blew by were stunned..rubber trim I used automotive trim adhesive, which is basically a contact cement. You put some inside the trim and a bead around the lip of the seat. Allow the adhesive to dry and then, working very quickly, put the trim onto the seat. Jack will probably...

    Dear Leslie,

Please come and sign up to our forum. Please? Tell us some stories, show us some pictures, entertain us. Most of us are guys and easily entertained, so please, please, please come play with us. I'd think whatever the issues you and John are working out with your Silvio, many more could...

    Tall riders

Hi Greg, I'm not sure what you mean by "tall". I'm 6' and am comfortable on a Silvio. I suspect it would accomodate much taller, but don't really feel qualified to say how much taller. Mark

    I need some help.

You know, John.... I know you're right. I've been trying to bear up to that. Tonight, I went out into the mancave, intent on removing the jewelry from her corpse. I see the mud streaked up the back of the seat and on the carboyoke; reminders of our last ride together on the bike path...

    I need some help.

Man, I need some help. Not that there's anything anybody but my insurance company could do for me.... Except maybe a beer. I've been in a funk ever since the incident. Hard to explain, actually. I haven't felt much like riding and that's probably what I need the most. All I want to do is...

Confirmed: Mark B is an idiot

I wanted to apologize for my comments about not being honest if there were a "next time". I'm always honest about things like this and would never expect more than I have coming. While it is no excuse, I was (and am) frustrated and anxious to put this ordeal behind me and get back to some...

    Will this Trike Conversion work?

I've thought about the adult trike angle. Something like this might work: If you could ditch the drive parts and lose the tractor seat... It might be fairly light. Look at how low the Cruzbike seat would sit.... Could be the ticket, but do you want to gamble $400? Mark

    Suitable for Conversion?

Yeah, but to get the seat reclined at all, you will have to have the pan further up the top tube. It's worth a try, you can just attach the seat and see if the reach is doable. I'm just looking at the severity of the top tube angle. The nose of the pan is going to be quite elevated, which...

    Suitable for Conversion?

It'll probably work, but you may need a stepladder to get on the bike!

    Silvio Car Rack?

You know what's "funny"? As many bikes as I have hauled on the roof of my car, that was the very first time with the Silvio. OK, second; we made it safe to the ride start! ;) FWIW, I'll go roof rack again, I will just take precautions. I've seen bikes on back racks get smeared, too...

Confirmed: Mark B is an idiot

Here's an update on the situation; First of all, the insurance company is taking their sweet time getting a check out. Maybe that's a good thing. I had taken both back wheels (well, her back, my front) in to be trued. I will do most of my own wrenching, but leave the wheelwork to the pros...

Confirmed: Mark B is an idiot

Yeah, maybe. I never imagined needing that, though. I never park in the garage, I never.... well, I guess.... Mark

    Silvio changes ?

That's where I'd start; make sure the limit screw didn't get messed with, or some kind of grudue holding works up. Then, make sure your cable isn't binding, or the TFT pulley isn't malfunctioning somehow. Which gets you back to the brifter. Mark
