    The Perfect Recumbent-DF Draft?

Except for the maneuverability and comfort of the person in front... yikes that looks painful. I've done some stupid things but that just doesn't look smart.

    Introduction and some questions

Sorry Greg that's only 192 words = less than 1/5th of a photo... More seriously, can one of the moderators (nudge @Lucia) look into getting @Greg S some posting abilities. I for one would like to see his pictures. @ Greg S It used to be 10 posts and you would be golden but I'm not sure if...

MTB brakes/shifters on CB w drop bars?

@paco1961 I believe the discussion has been opened before.. The usual difficulty is difference in handle bar tubing diameter (road is larger than mountain bike). Soma Gator is the bar most often mentioned - the bar diameter changes to accommodate either components. I'll let you search as I am...

    Introduction and some questions

Welcome @Greg S ! I'll do my best to help in the small ways that I can to answer your questions. @Robert Holler or any of the long-haul and touring Cruzbikers would better answer the first two questions. People have been known to clamp the boom near the headset to the maintenance stand. My...

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the S40 2019 and S40 2020 model?

Bets? Minor changes to: Frame colours, gear ratios/gear components, stock tires, handlebar minor tweaks, pedals, some new accessories, --Oh and a rocket launcher (e-bike kit) available and a beanie propeller helmet for the first 10 buyers. Those are my bets.

    Helmets for Recumbents

I should probably clarify that this recent winter weather (salt season) riding is done on my mountain bike with studded tires so in an upright position for winter when I need the slippery surface handling of a mountain bike for the possibility of ice/snow. Most of my riding with this helmet has...

I agree many winters in a row now. Having heard about @3bs many rides I move that we hold the next retreat at 3bs's house. We won't need to bring any vehicles 'cuz there will be lots of very nice ones. If more than 18 people plan to attend there are several more N+1 's that can multiply that...

    T50 boom orientation?

Good luck with the cables. Securing them to the boom, handlebar, fork parts that rotate together with the cables in such a way that they don't rub on the head tube could be quite a challenge without completely removing them - but if you can get the bolt out easily then you could just zip tie...

    Helmets for Recumbents

I'm at the cheaper end of the market... The only "aero" helmet I've used is this one from Bend-It Cycling. https://www.benditcycling.com/Recumbent_Gear.html It is comfortable, well ventilated, light weight, visor which fits huge glasses underneath... It probably is not as aero and is less...
