    Front Light Mount Method

Still think you start with. Passive reflectors on the frame, on the wheels, on the boom, on the seat, on the helmet. Then some thing like fiberflare works excellent to create a bike shape. And of course lights to see where you are going. Love Lief's approach but the backwash activates my...

    Q559 conversion for flat Florida

That is a 650b wheel too big. You need a 559. My opinion your best bet would be to email benny@wheelbuilder.com. Get a quote for a custom velocity A23 rim with a DTswiss350 hub 24 spoke. In a 559 size. That will get you what you want. Light fast and not break the bank. All of our quests now...

    Q559 conversion for flat Florida

The BB is 68mm BSA threaded you can run any type of bottom bracket you like that supports that thread and width The existing BB is square-taper and any square taper crank will work with it; if you leave it. (square taper is older tech and a tad heavier than say GXP or HollowTech) Front wheel...

Are you running the correct tire pressure?

What you talk about of course happens... After about 2.5 weeks of steady rain the clouds parted and I got out for a sunset ride. About 1.2 miles from home it was dark enough that I haven't a clue what I rode through but PSSSSTTTTT flat tire. I heard it; it didn't immediately seal; so I coasted...

I would like to try out a Silvio or Vendetta in the Indianapolis or Cincinnati area

If you can make Recumbent Cycle-con there's a good chance you can get a riding lesson from me as well.

    Vendetta - Medium Yellow - Di2 - For Sale.

In most normal cases I would have been open to that, but in this case the real "net" goal is to liquidate everything excluding a frameset. I'm going to replace it with just a v20 frame, with only a rear derailleur, a shifter and a rear wheel which will be mounted on the trainer year round...

    Finally - My sub-4 hour Century - totally fuel-less!

The theory is; that when you race you stack your Threshold and Anaerobic (Glycogen based) effort on top your aerobic base. If your aerobic base is "wide" meaning it goes a long time at a decent level then you can ultra cycle further and faster, allowing you to spread your limited Glycogen based...

    Vendetta - Medium Yellow - Di2 - For Sale.

Vendetta TT (2.0) Medium Yellow (Hydro formed FrameStyle) Ok it’s time to move the Yellow Vendetta out of the basement trainer role. The Di2 Setup is completely going to waste on the trainer. Before I just pull the Di2 off it to sell; I thought I'd see if anyone would like a completely setup...

Are you running the correct tire pressure?

That experience is going to serve you well. Most of my post was for those that follow later and find the Thread. Tubeless certainly isn't necessary, and we don't what to feed that as a must. But given your synopsis your riding history is likely going to send you in that direction. I expect...

    Finally - My sub-4 hour Century - totally fuel-less!

I ran Bontrager and Stans both last year. Only rode through 1 punch; the rest were stop; wait; pump; ride. I was content. This year based on Gary's recommendation I went Orange Endurance. This year on orange-E, I only had to stop 1 time, all other punctures I just kept riding. Hawkeye-downs I...

    Finally - My sub-4 hour Century - totally fuel-less!

Nice job for riding without power. "Orange Endurance" will seal better than Stans or Regular Orange. It's harder to clean off the rim when you replace the tire but well worth it. It has stuff in it that looks like glitter that helps dramatically seal a cut.
