has anyone tried bars like this?

Sorry I went off to find a picture last night and got distracted by Portland retreat prep See Hardy's blog for photos..https://teammooseisloose.wordpress.com I suspect the midge-on-one bar would work for you like it does for me; I can ride them traditional or drop them low like Hardy for long...

    removing the Kind air shock

Sorry to say that is not possible, or more proper really strongly not recommended. The shock is emedded into the fork. If you replace the fort with a shock less one the geometry of the bike would change due to the shorter fork, and the handling would be compromised. The new S30 has a new head...

has anyone tried bars like this?

Couple of options: 1) cut the fork stem down 2) Curve slider 3) rotate the bars forward like Hardy rides them. Combine them to get a combination that works; you might have to shorten the total boom length for it to work well.

    Shine on you crazy diamond

Ridden with it most of the summer; the daytime flash mode is really good. Nigth time the the remote is the bomb; really like it. I'm getting about 8 hours runtime on flash mode with the 5200mAH battery; the bright level chews through it a lot faster; but the dim level last forever. The...

    V20 Build Question

On a 50/34T you will get rub on the inside of the 50 when you run little x little if you are on a medium and under 6ft tall in your setup.. That's normal. If you arent getting rub in other sprockets the likely causes are: 1) You have SRAM Cassette 11sp on 11spd hub; or 10sp on 10spd hub; and...

Climbing and bb height, low gears

Nice work. Seems like the estimate of H could be fixed as the height of the wheels, and pick an average Crr for know reference point tires like a Conti II (I like that better than zero), the Cda for the V20, S30 are pretty well known enough to use constants, and suddenly that's a much simpler...

I can hear the debates raging on some forums now over the lost mechanical efficiency at the secondary crank sprocket. Not that anyone whose never tried one would engage in such practices.

Chain WAXing (yes it's that easy) - and other mysteries of this art!

I just recently got some chain at a good price; the vendor sent them in custom baggies; so I asked if he could sell by the foot and explained the market. He was very interested in the idea and was checking with his suppliers to see if he can do bunk. If he can he'll make a proposal to see if...

    Garmin alternatives- Wahoo, anyone?

Old cable may a shorted wire. Or a burned out resistor. Life in tech support leads to odd knowledge. I learned about this supporting a customers car gps. Tried to say the computer we sold him was defective because his gps would not charge. It is not what you know it is what you have done wrong...
