Chain WAXing (yes it's that easy) - and other mysteries of this art!

Black; it turns off white/grey when it re-hardens.

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

You probably also still have you left knee cap; mine is in 4 pieces I don't like to do anything harder;..... last weekend climbing a 13% short hill at mile 105 I was telling myself; yep no more gears; you can't shift, nope no shifting; pedal harder; don't tip over; it's only 500 more yards; it...

    Uh oh...V20 back in stock!

Stem extension also help some of the clydales get more sit up room, see abotts posts on the subject. Before the new diet I was in pretty tight; and can still relive that if I get on Pluckyblond's bike. The dismount trick is one that can only be practice on the ground. When rolling forward at...

silvio 1.0 derailleur hanger poor fit issue

The 1.0 experts will need to chime in; but a photo from 90 degrees to the left would be most useful to understand what's going on; the angle of the current shot makes it hard to tell what's going on.

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

Fancy language for an "Expensive Shim" to offset the derailleur further back so it's not interfered with by the height of the ring if your braze-on mount is too low.

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

Little update .... Thanks to Etap and Di2 I have lots and lots of shift data from the last two years. PluckyBlond have been riding QRing Aero 52 and Qring QXL 38 and the 11-28T SRAM this spring/summer and Aero52/Standard Q36 with 11-32T di2 last year. It's very interesting to look at two...

DT swiss ratchet skewers are the best thing going right now; most road bikes are coming 132.5mm now so they account for that with there 135mm one which expresses the size hub it is for; it's actually longer than 135mm which isn't always obvious.

    Tire pressure talk

Ah the fun with languages; This may be something that only bothers me or it may be a tubeless thing. When the pressure gets too low I can feel the lateral left to right motion of the rim over the top of the tire; it becomes like the tires is hydroplaning on the rubber. Steering in put becomes...

    Metric vs imperial measurers

Yes but 8 is binary and you only need 1 register in your garmin's memory to count laps that has to save battery right? Therefore your bike is lighter and you are faster.... too obscure? yeah probably... sorry. :(

Yeah but then you just want to do two of them.

QX100 for a customer in Norway

Typo in my post. 50T/11T. With the stock 155mm cranks I spin out at 110rpm right about the max comfort speed for the bike. The tall steering stalk has me coasting in the 30-35 mph range anything beyond 35 seems to calls my judgement into quest, small wheels and pot holes not compatible. Try...
