    Holland Hundred 2015-07-18

Hey Joe, do yo have power numbers for this Century? That would be interesting. I hope that you are considering riding the Mid-Atlantic Century in Washington, NC. It is the UMCA "National Championship" for the Century this year, and flat as a pancake! We could have an awesome Cruzbike Vendetta...

    Steering damper/stabilizer

No, I did not really notice any help with that. It is not very stiff. I only have it on to help manage the bike when it is not moving. That is when it is a bear!

First ride with the "A" group riders in years: the good..., and the bad.

Great report - and heal up well Alan Yeah me too - 3 times this year already . Last one just 5 days ago. Get some duoderm patches and silvaderm cream. You will heal up 3 times faster. I crashed and skidded hard like that 6 days before Calvins 12-hour race (back in May), and I was able to...

Trek Releases new bike that can keep up with the V20

Joe, I have been looking at these. Too bad you can't find one at your local bike shop to see if it fits well. I think they are about $300 bucks or so. If I can't find a luge helmet, I may have to start saving my lunch money for one of these to try? :)

    Playing with the DFs

Well, you could hang a couple of 10 pound gym weights from you seat, to kind of make it fair and all. But, of course put them where the pour DF guys can see them really well as you pass them by.

"I have a hacksaw, and I'm not afraid to use it."

Great stuff Gary - Haha - no massive thighs here - That's Ratz your thinking of!! I tried them pointing forward, and Gary is correct, I did have to elevate them higher than I wanted to, to get my legs to stop hitting my legs. It might not be as bad if I went down to 130mm cranks too. I also...

    Tannus Solid Tires

Thanks Martinius, I did some digging and it appears that the best rolling resistance Tannus Tire is: the Aither 1.1 From this article: http://road.cc/content/news/141771-tannus-launches-new-aither-11-solid-tyres "According to Tannus, tests against a Panaracer tyre revealed that when pedalled at...

    V20 full build ordered

Very nice Allen. Stay tuned for a rig to mount to the back of the headrest that can hold 2 bottles. Cruzbike is currently testing some options.

Need input for possible new Cruzbike product

I agree that the $600 price tag is way to steep for me. I would like it more in the $200 range personally! I also think the CF is what is driving up the cost. For the size, simple lighweight molded plastic I don't think would weight that much more. I built my own "quiver" , much like Eric (I...

    Climbing for dummies

Yeah, but most of time these Strava segment "grades" are not correct. If correct, or even close, then I'm willing to bet it is a gravel or dirt road, especially with a 38:11 time for 5.3KM
