    My Experience Learning to Ride

I would call it a forward-drive unicycle, I think. Although a generally think of a Cruzbike as a modern Penny-Farthing.

Look out here come the Chinese

Chunkiness is for big tires. Look at the front tire. Their going for mixed-use here.

Look out here come the Chinese

I see it now. All there frames are titanium copies of other frames, it looks like. The carbon suspension on the Silvios was indeed of Chines or Taiwanese origin. In fact, someone bought a folding frame from the manufacturer for a travel Cruzbike. They were selling on Ebay for a while.

They only show a stick recumbent on their website. Lots of diamond frame variations. http://www.ti-bikes.com

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

My guess, or hope, is a T50 with 27.5 Plus wheels. This is based on 2 things: Jim putting the widest possible tires on an S40 for gravel riding, and that the Q series has always been the riser-tube front end design.

    Replacement Fork?

That looks normal. That is not the bearing surface. You would install the lower bearing-race of your headset on there. Canti studs can be removed. They have flats at their base to put a wrench on. At least, all the the ones I've ever seen. The replacement fork needs to work with either type of...

    Silvio 1.0 dropout width?

Thanks. I didn't think there would be any leeway, with the carbon stays. But I was hoping there might be a way. I know I can get these wheels on a T50 if I use narrow enough tires. I'll probably aim for that in the future. Of course, I have another bike I can canabalize that has 700c with...

Is it possible to put mountain spaced hubs on it? 135mm and 100mm?

Has anyone cut their seat to allow storage in frame?

Some seats already have cutouts. I would try first with something non-carbon, and made that way. Performer fiber-plastic seats have central cutouts.

Winter's coming. Check out this awesome fender design!

These are really cool, for the 700C crowd anyway https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/236528337/quickguard-full-length-bicycle-mudguard/description

    SOLD - Sofrider - $225 - Mechanicsville, VA

No. They are generic no-name types that just have a bunch of detents. But looking on Ebay, the real thing (SRAM) is pretty cheap. Like $25.00 or less for front and rear shifters for 8-speed. https://www.ebay.com/b/SRAM-Twist-8-speed-Bicycle-Shifters/177824/bn_1981737 What brand of derailleurs...

    SOLD - Sofrider - $225 - Mechanicsville, VA

You can get "Universal" gripshift type shifters really cheap. They are always Shimano compatible, and have as many as 12 clicks. Then you just use what you need. I'll dig around a bit on Amazon and Ebay to find them. Sticking with mountain bike components for this bike is probably best.

    SOLD - Sofrider - $225 - Mechanicsville, VA

Hi Neal, If you flip the bracket on the back of the seat upside-down, it gains you a lot more adjustability. That seat-rail thing held on with 3 allen screws and nylocks. It is pretty flexible, so I bolted the 2 wide ends to the lower bottle-cage holes, and then drilled a new hole for the other...

    S40- Wow!

The trick for slip is the same as for cars or motorcycles. Don't overdo the torque! So, if starting in a low gear, where you can apply insane amounts of torque, give it less than your all until you get going.
