Hi,
I purchased a used conversion kit that didn't come with instructions. Are there other instructions besides the parts list that is on the conversion kit page
What I am puzzled about is the steerer extention tube. When I take the old stem out of the suspension fork on the Downtube...
Hi,
For those of you who are not regular BROL forum readers, here's a topic about a french recumbent hill climbing contest.
MBB bikes (both Cruzbike and Zockras) were very well represented.
Cheers,

Hi,
After my last few rides, I now have a total just over 1,500 miles (some pictures of the latest rides included). I (along with most others here) took a gamble on a funny looking bike I never saw in person and I can sincerely say, I'm very pleased.
Cheers,
Charles
Hi,
In this blog post, I talk (and show pictures) for upgraded: trigger shifters, grips, second mirror, and brake pads. I also show how I have my rack and water bladder mounted.
Enjoy! (or not :) ).

Hi,
I highly recommend all new Cruzbike riders (or those who are just considering it) to look at "Kim's videos." I found that these helped me out a lot..
The biggest thing that helped me out that I haven't read or seen anywhere (not that I've done anything near an exhaustive search)...
Hi,
I've been playing with bridging. The basic idea is that you plant your shoulders against the seat and lift up your butt.
The lower the seat angle (more horizontal), the easier it is to do. You need strong core muscles (which I don't really have), but when I can do it, I find I...
Hi,
This question is both relevant to other forum questions as well as general interest (to me, at least). I know from this forum that you can get a triple onto the Vendetta. How small (in teeth) a granny can one get onto the bike? Changing crankset and bottom bracket are fair game...
I've put almost 150 miles on since the Vermont mountains, and most of it has gone smoothly excepll my front wheel almost fell off and I fell today (I'm o.k. Mostly just embarrased). Both were my fault. So, the moral of the story, check that your quick release levers are tight and let's be...
Hi,
I just spent a week at my in-laws in Vermont. I brought my bike and found out that Vermont is well-named ("Green Mountain"). I got a lot of new experience riding up hills, using my new granny gear, and trying to start on very steep wet hills. For pictures and more details, you can...

I was going to post about changes I made to my bike, but it got caught in the spam filter again, so I won't bother. This is starting to be a real bore.
Hi,
I was going to post and ask at what point will the forum stop asking me to verify I'm a human. It often takes me several tries and this just becomes annoying.
Worse, today I was trying to post and I got:
"Your submission has triggered the spam filter and will not be accepted."...
Hi,
In the past, i installed a triple crank with a 28T granny gear. I decided this wasn't low enough and today installed a 22T granny gear. The 38T-22T transition is probably a bit to big, but I definitely like having the lower range.
Cheers,
Charles
Hi,
I just upgraded my Sofrider to a triple crank (Shimano Alivio M411 Hybrid Crankset (Black 170mm X 48/38/28)) which did require a new bottom bracket (Shimano BB-UN26 cartridge BB, JIS - 68x123mm). It cost me a little less than $60 in parts and actually wasn't that hard to install once I...
I ordered Shimano Alivio M411 Hybrid Crankset (Black 170mm X 48/38/28) (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004V25ZRQ/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details). I got it installed on the Sofrider smoothly. The issue is that the granny gear is too close to the frame and that the derailler can't push the chain...
