    Quest & Silvio pic.

Both bikes handle just fine the suspension works well on both bikes. I feel more stretched out on the Silvio but that might be the 451 wheels. I did a 45 mile ride on the Silvio today and plan on doing the same ride on the Quest next week. I should know more then. Jack

    Quest & Silvio pic.

Heres a few shots. The Quest is kind of a mini Silvio. Everything on the Quest works just fine the only change I made was to turn the handlebars down and clip less pedals.I get no recumbent butt, neck, shoulder or wrist pain. Great job John. Jack

    My 451

Have done 2 rides so far and I really like this bike. Its as low as the Silvio and as fast as the IN Trek conversion. I haven't gone up any steep long hills yet but the gearing should be plenty low.I cant wait to mix it up with the mini-velos and the faster 20 in folders. The wheels were a little...

    Another Quest speed ?

So how is the 20 in speed compared to other 20 in bikes? I got passed today by a Bike Friday on the bike path and he was moving out. Some of the high end folders are pretty fast.Dont know if I should order a 20 or 26.

    pinch flat

Got one today first one on Silvio. Pumped up the tire to 100 lbs in morning hit a bad ledge in driveway then 10 miles later front tire was flat.I think 120 might be better now. Turning bike upside down makes getting the wheel off a breeze. Jack

    Dynacraft PK-7 | Conversion candidate?

I think the top tube is ok.The 17in frame is pretty big so the seat can wont be too far forward.

    Dynacraft PK-7 | Conversion candidate?

I just measured my bikes and the top tubes from front of seatpost to back of headtube is around 19in. also wheelbase 39-41in. these are small or med. frames. There are plenty of small bikes out there that will work. You will be ok if you can do most of your own work . The thing I like about...

    Wald touring bars

I now have around 400 miles on this set up and dont see any downside. The steel bars might be a little heavy but dont flex at all.I can also rotate them in any direction for a perfect bike fit. Combine that with the super adjustable Silvio stem what more can you want? Jack :D
