    Radical Design seat bag

    These bags hold about 1/2 as much as panners. I can get tools ,pump 2 tubes a jacket with room for more. It would be easy to add a few more mounting straps.I havent had any problem with them hitting the back wheel.You can check mine out on our next ride . Jack

    Got it done in 5 hours. Had some knee clearance problems with the cruiser bars so went back to flat mt. ones with stem reversed.Need to do a few test rides but it should be ok.I really liked the Cannondale but need a better stem adapter as the whole front end was off to the side 3 in or so...

    I will soon be taking a hack saw to the Giant frame.The top tube will be cut and replaced with liteweight plywood and fiberglassed. The seat height will be around 22in or very close to a Silvio. If this works out it might open up a whole new class of donor bikes. Jack

    It will work just keep the seat as far back as you can.You will have to bend the seat post or make a plywood adapter like mine. Check out the pictures of Jacks Cannondale in the yahoo group. Jack

    You might want just sit on the bike and start adjusting the bars and TFT. I kind of keep my elbows out and never have any finger pain. Jack

    How soon will these brackets be out?I had to go back to a double as the brifter would only shift to 2 chainrings.Got a new left brifter but still couldn't get all three front gears.I will just wait for the adapter and try again. I don't need a triple around here that much but its nice to have...

    I found a new Ultegra long cage derailler that works well.The Deore LX worked ok also. That was with the 11-32 im now using 11-25.Rear shifting has been great. Jack

    Recumbent Rally

    I had a good time at the rally.Nice meeting everyone.For the Sunday ride I rode from my house so ended up with 46 miles.Didn't have any trouble keeping up with the faster high racers at 18 to 19 mph.About 150 riders were there and the food was great.Dana knows how to put on a first class event...
