How to make your Vendetta as fast as possible

It would make sense if you moved the derailleur above the wheel and put an aero cover over the top part of the wheel, which would then cover partially the derailleur. Practicality 0 as the hanger would have to move but gains... huge. (Derailleur would have to be redesigned too)

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

Xshifter can give you 12,13,14 gears off one chainring for about $150 + chainring and 12 spd chain... allows the boom to be freely adjusted too. Guess it's poor man's solution but it works ... just as long as you don't want to use brifters.

    Outstanding prices

Hello, just wondering if anyone else really hates buying cruzbike stuff due to the high prices. I just bought a boom clamp for the vendetta and had to pay total cost of €66.50 which in USA terms is probably $78 :(, that was after shipping and custom taxes. It's a joke. If there was a factory...

Just wondering...S40 with a carbon front triangle?

Might be. I've had the vendetta for 10 years... near enough. Might be time to retire her. We have had many many exciting times and have taken her to many exotic places. She still has a lot of life in her. Maybe she can still beat the local DFs for another 5 years??? So does the new v20 have...

    Learning my S-30

Keep track where the legs are sore. Upper or lower... more lower then you are pulling more with your cleats forward. By centering the cleats you will reduce lower leg soreness

The visor of visors... what is it? A welding protector of sorts? It looks brilliant but I have never seen it on the sites????

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

It felt cold today so it's the funny duck helmet. I might chop the top of the headrest as each time I hit a bump the helmet reverberates. But at the moment it's the most comfy.

    Midsole cleat position

I did the same as @LarryOz ... midsole works brilliantly but not so good if you have to get up a friggin big hill. It might reduce your sprint capability but being a recumbent rider... sprinting really isn't in the repertoire.

    V20 Handlebar Options???

Emmm almost tempted to put the v20 up there but the tape looks a bit shabby. LOL A quote from Larry's book. Try at speed to hold your handlebar with one arm and put the other down by your legs. Then you can have a cheap handlebar and still be able. Still have to perfect this technique though...

Are you a pusher or puller?

I had more knee issues with longer cranks so if you want to push or pull harder go for longer cranks.

    Wear and Tear

I noticed with all my years of riding that the small of my back suffers the worst wear on my skinsuits. How about you? If everything was geared for better efficency then surely it would be even wear throughout or on the shoulders, or does it? (I only ride the vendetta)
