Mathew, the downside is that the valve clogs very easily. It appears that you have one shot to put air in after mounting because anytime any air expels from the valve the sealant comes with it and blocks it. From what I remember - once I had my "event" and lost a little air I was unable to pump...

A full carbon frame for the S40 (or any model) would probably be heavier that the aluminum hydroformed frame - it is extremely light and strong. I have "Magic" which is 100% carbon - and it is 5 lbs heavier than the V20C.

It is 4:48pm local time. Men have 442.8 and last came through at 23:13 - Women have 429.6 and last came through at 23:08 - It is possible that they stopped since both should have posted another. 4.8mile lap long ago (should only take about 15 min at 20mph. No matter what - great result to both...

414 miles the guys. They are 0.5 mph faster than the girls right now, so 21.5 hrs x 0.5 mph puts them about 11 miles ahead. They also started the short loop at different times so their mileage will not match up any longer . Congrats to both teams for passing 400 miles already with 2 1/2 hours...

360 mile update - the men have pulled away by over 31 mins

342 miles - Men's lead about 24 mins

after 306 miles: women closing the gap a little:

288 mile mark - Men are about 25 mins ahead now. Now they have full daylight until the end

They can do whatever they want - I suspect they are each trading off after each 18 mile lap - or maybe 2 laps at night so they might be able to sleep

Update after 14 laps: Guys have about 20 mins on the Gals!
