    Neck rest?seat angle issues

Likely an issue with the website/host changes everyone. Lucia is out at the moment but stay tuned we are working on finding out what is going on. Robert

Vendetta frame life i.e well made tough as teak.

CF can work on DF frames and be light because they are dealing with short tubes and triangles. A CF recumbent Flex like noodles, unless triangulated. Can also set up bad harmonics depending on the design.

    S40 on gravel?

The S40 does pretty well on gravel. Of course climbing and descending are going to be are combination of maintaining grip on the road and rider skill - that goes for any recumbent bike not on a paved surface. This also depends on what constitutes the gravel surface - if it is very loose this is...

Vendetta frame life i.e well made tough as teak.

There will not likely be a CF recumbent from that weighs less than an aluminum one - and some steel ones can weigh less than either if they are made right. The CF ones that do exist flex like noodles. No thank you.

"Winter" - Cruzbike Virtual Time Trial Challenge

Well, looks like my power info doesn't make it to Strava. Nothing like two steps forward and 10 steps back. Time to go ride outside with ZERO tech attached to the bike. Ugh.

"Winter" - Cruzbike Virtual Time Trial Challenge

Cool. I was not even aware that you couldn't change worlds. Been off the Swift for a while doing neighborhood loops at a much more relaxed pace so this will actually get me into the groove again. I tend to ride at far too leisurely of a pace outside anyway and there are way too many...

"Winter" - Cruzbike Virtual Time Trial Challenge

Did it this AM on the volcano flat. What a PITA having to do the "world hack" etc etc. Is this 2002 with these internet hacks? Seems a simple thing to let users pick wherever they want to ride.... except I forgot we are dealing with the very large cycling community so there always seems to be...

Vendetta frame life i.e well made tough as teak.

A good steel frame will last forever and can be fixed and recycled. An aluminum frame has a lifespan even with moderate use as the material can only take so many cycles. A CF frame "is forever" only in that it lasts and lasts and lasts just like nuclear waste in a landfill.

    Lumbar Support for S40

This is indeed a great idea and one I have done for various bikes. :-)

    Silvio 2.0/2.1 derailleur hanger?

Tim, Shoot me an email at support@cruzbike.com. If you can, please send me a few pics of your DR hanger, as the Silvios during that time were using varying hanger types and I would want to make sure you get the right one. Robert

    Skewers

I am now aware of aftermarket skewers for mag-type trainers that have the same types of ends that the stock trainer skewers have. It is possible to just see the stock CB skewer and swap out the one end. A direct drive trainer of course works much better as the bike is supported by the fork and...

    S40 Frame

I have not heard about any stolen bikes or frames on my end.

    Green S30??

Thats an actual S30. There was only one production run of that particular frame. You can tell due to the triangular shape of the hole in the back brace. All previous Silvios had circular holes.

Easy Reacher Under Seat Rack Installation issues

You look to have the rack for the Q45 which is wider (wider lower bar and different spacer set) than the rack for the S40

An S40 in China. Loving the bike :)

Amazing video and the perfect bike for that type of trail.

New Dates for Cruzbike Ride Retreat!

I use the Terrano X intercom. Works great for talking to others who have it and also for music. Mounts pretty easily to any helmet. I have never had a hard time with my glasses under the Giro helmet - maybe larger glasses would be a bad fit but not the ones I wear.

    Question on S-40 Setup

The long steer tube is there to allow for a better fit for all riders. Easy to cut the steer tube short for shorter riders, but not so easy to make it longer.

Things are starting to get serious around here!

Just a quick note for future for anyone seeing this thread - the S40 is basically a disc brake only bike. There are (to my knowledge) no calipers that have the reach long enough to work - other than possibly the old hanky BMX ones of days gone by that never really worked. I always recommend...
