    Skewers?

Those older skewers were longer than that and custom made due to the wider design of the front end. No 135 skewer will work. Send me an email in the support address - ill have to scavange for one - thats a rare piece of gold indeed. Robert

    QX100 Headset Adjustment

There is also a 4mm allen bolt on the side of the clamp. You dont really need to loosen the riser, just the very small 1.5mm allen at the top, then the 4mm allen on the side (it might be painted white) and then the unit will expand as it is threaded on the inside. Then just retighten the two...

    QX100 Headset Adjustment

The headset is adjusted at the top of the headtube - not at the star nut. The ky is that the adjuster needs to have the very small set screw loosened. It can be seen looking down at the top of the adjuster. Robert

    New Cruzbike Accessories

The box is held on by a plate that holds it to the tubes. The new pad doesn't have to slip over the tubes. The old pads will need to be slightly modified but that should be too bad with a pair of scissors. The install is very simple. Ill likely do a video if an install here soon if I ever catch...

Anyone planning on trying the M5 two-spoke wheels?

Sorry but I am rolling my eyes at those wheels.

    Latex or no latex

This is well stated and also something to remember on every ride. Get there incrementally and learn every aspect of your individual machine before you push the envelope. Every bike is a relationship and you have to grow into it and don't abuse it.

    New cheap Cruzbike

Ok all - there is not much different here than the QX100 other than no rear suspension. The front end is 95% the same as a QX100 other than some differences in the fork - but the QX100 fork already can take a 2" wide tire.

DT Swiss RWS Tandem Steel 145mm with Aluminum Lever (Skewer)

This is correct - no springs. They are only to center the skewer on a typical wheel to make removal/install easier for convenience - they have no other function. Sice the front has to be removed all the way they are only a PITA. :-)

    Took The Plunge (figureatively)

I ship the builds from Portland, OR - also known as the weirdest and coolest place in the USA.

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

Unless you ride a trike - the right one - you can't understand the appeal. It also requires a paradigm shift in how you think about riding. They are not always slower than their two wheel counterparts - so direct comparisons to why one or the other is "better" is moot unless you have specifics...

    Recumbent Cycle Con 2016

This is correct. The build at the show was for display only. Note that before everyone gets over excited here as tends to be the case that we are ironing out some final issues for this frame to make it a good one.

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

I had a chance to ride this at the 2016 RCC. It was interesting, but IMHO as a bike mechanic and someone who rides a LOT of different bikes it is not ready for prime time. I didn't get a chance to ride it in bike form, just in its trike arrangement.

    S30 Rear Triangle Noise

Hmmm. That part is pre-installed from our factory and I did not see anything out of the ordinary when I did the build. Ill take a look at mine here and a few others to see if there is any difference. Robert

    QX100 vs Silvio

ratz is correct. Those models are not in the same category of performance for that type of riding.
