    Learning to ride again...

Being very tense makes any Being very tense makes any bike (and particularly recumbents) difficult to ride. A big key is to relax and trust that after you are rolling a bit the bike will want to stay upright. I taught my daughter recently at the Portland Human Power Challenge to ride a Q26...

Anyone running Hutchinson Sector tyres and do they fit the Vendetta?

I will echo Ashtabula's I will echo Ashtabula's comments. Running super tight tire clearances can be a hazard. I have never experienced a wheel rotation halt but I have seen some pretty demolished tires from debris getting caught. I apply this to doing fender installs as well. Robert

Good post by ratz. That cost Good post by ratz. That cost estimate is good, and would yield a VERY nice setup. At a given budget amount you are then only paying for (less) weight - literally counting grams - and start to pass the point of diminishing returns (my opinion of course)... Wheel...

Correct way to assemble seat-pan and seat-back interface

Andrew is correct - and if Andrew is correct - and if the seat is not going to be removed the knobs can be replaced with nylock nuts. The knobs under the seat base are ones to check every handful of rides as well to make sure they are snug. Robert :)

Checkup at bike shop every 50 hours??

It is a good idea to do a It is a good idea to do a check over of the bike just about every ride, and a more thorough check (on your own mainly) at that interval. No tools needed for most stuff - but always just a look over of brakes/headset/look for loose or missing bolts/etc. Bikes are...

    Quest conversion kit?

The 20" Q is a great bike. The 20" Q is a great bike. There is a lot that can be done with it. I have a Downtube folder frame hanging in my shop that "may" get a conversion, but I do not see a need. The Q is a tested design and works great as a daily rider! Robert

Seat Bags and Frame Bags for Silvio

Great looking bag!Unless you Great looking bag! Great looking bag! On one that high be sure to not overload it too heavy unless it is nice and solid side to side. That bag though looks good for the usual lightweight items like a jacket, leg warmers, etc. Robert

    Silvio

I would also second the idea I would also second the idea of giving the stock handlebars a shot first. It takes a while and some miles to really dial in the comfort and fine tuning and getting used to the bike as designed can yield great results. The set-up is rather dialed in as it is...
