Lots of great advice above.
Lots of great advice above. It comes with time. As you noticed, once you decide to work WITH the bike and not "fight" the steering it falls into place.

Which Saris rack is that if I may ask and does it fir the longer wheelbase of the V?
It looks like it has a bit up a higher mount as well. I am looking for something that sits higher up.

Good advice on here. Take things one adjustment at a time and I concur to start by reclining that seat a bit to the first set of holes.
Another idea is to rotate the handlebars down in the stem so your wrists are more natural. In the picture it looks like your...

Ultimately - you have to be able to maintain a forward MPH to keep balanced. Too much "climbing" gears and you fall over. This becomes more pronounced on steeper inclines as your body gets angled backwards and balance becomes even harder to maintain anyway.

I agree with Johns
I agree with Johns observation and I have a similar issue. This sort of fit challenge is not uncommon, but on some recumbents it is not an issue (like on a stick highracer) because your legs are on the other side of the handlebars eliminating the need to account for the "foot...

Indeed - this is why I have a second drive wheel so I can make a swap depending on the ride. Here in Portland where I live it is either going up up up or down down down. Unless I head out east where the grades are flatter.

I have been testing a 50/34 and an 11-40 T cassette on the Vendetta and it is awesome as a bail out gear or for when you just want to spin a higher cadence on milder climbs in the big chainring. It is the One-Up Components 40T add on for the cassette.
As long as...

It is a real squeeze to get a 135mm hub in the fork. I know that Doug has done it and I have done it as well to test disc brakes, but personally I do not recommend it and I ended up going back to calipers. If the fork was a 132.5 as some are making now that would...

This picture is not of a Sofrider on the roof, but the rack fits all the Cruzbikes except the Vendetta. It is the Yakima Frontloader. love it for a roof rack!
