    Cracked Carbon Wheel

That must have been some serious impact. Since you mention no injuries I am very glad to hear that you are ok and the only casualty is the wheel. That rim looks trashed - am I seeing both sides with significant cracking, looks like from a major impact with either sealant or glue evidenced...

    T50 vs Q45 boom stiffness?

@dtseng Your identification of the joint at the bottom bracket on the T50 (and QX100, Quest, Sofrider, conversion kit) is something I never thought about. Seems like it might be the biggest difference between the triangles. And some of my thoughts that were triggered: Smaller effects on...

    Quest 3 frame failure

Closing a door on a vehicle has a lot of leverage on if it pushes against something inside, but though your photo is blurry it appears as though you are meticulous about placing the bike in the vehicle with enough space and your vehicle (Honda?) appears to be pristine and not of the kind that...

    My Q45 is ordered!

If I keep my nose pointed horizontally forward (or towards the perceived wind) it improves my aerodynamics. But the localized aerodynamic penalty when I shoulder check is a really awkward - the wind catches on my nose and it is a major drag. (pun intended)

    Quest 3 frame failure

Yikes, good catch before there was injury. Anyone have any idea how a sudden stop could be the strongest force to create such a break, whether it should happen or not? Shouldn't the pivot point at the top headset and at the bottom bracket both pivot so that the only real force on the boom /...

    My Q45 is ordered!

And here is another way: a touring handlebar bag. with a map holder sleeve - clear plastic map holder removed slide over seat back, under cushion hangs nicely behind the back. It can be stuffed as full as it can be and still hooked on here securely and yet comes off without any...

Who has both bikes: V20 and S40

Even with the widest tires that fit: S40 is the new racing bike. V20 is the new time trial bike. Cruzbike is the next evolution bicycle: Comfort is the new discomfort!

replacement front wheel and crankset/chainrings for a crashed (by someone else) Sofrider?

Hi Frank, I believe I might have seen this type of scenario before and the professional advice is "don't trust a front triangle with potential damage" - a definite possibility with the identified damage to wheel, derailleur, chain rings, and crank! There could easily be fork / boom damage that...

I think it was @superslim that posted this resource. Larger tire, appropriate pressure = comfort, handling, etc. http://www.adventurecycling.org/default/assets/resources/200903_PSIRX_Heine.pdf

Play in headset on T50 - how to adjust?

The QX100 I have has holes in it that I put a 3 or 4mm allen key into the hole and that got me enough extra grip to get the tension right and then tightened the set screw.

Trunk Bag for Q Heavy duty rack

Hi Hubbs, Good luck with the search. What I use is a handlebar bag and just hook it on the seat back and that gives me 5-7litres and super easy to put on and off. Sorry I can't help you with compatibility, my mounting options usually involve zip ties and shoe laces or something that is...
