Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

@RojoRacing Maybe you should hire yourself out as pace car (err Cruzbike) / rabbit. Then you could show off the ability, stay visible, and stay in the fresh air ahead of the crowd. Not sure if that is feasible but the mental image popped into my head of diamond frame greyhounds chasing a...

Rear Rack for S30 for a trunk bag

:cruzbike: Lesson in Black and White! @ak-tux, WOW! (I provided a caption for your photo above!) Whose is that? Is there a build thread? I'm curious about how the handlebar configuration worked for the rider and what stand is holding it up (The rest are all options I am much to...

    Central Indiana

Good deal for him! If he can have the patience to follow the steps in the training manual or as noted above Ratz method - parking lot, Eagle, Flinstone, relax, straight lines, gentle pedals, relax, relax, figure eights return many times for short training is more effective than one long session...

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Adding to Larry's "cracked another egg yoke", the 1980's "Ha, ha, I kill me" here's another: Paco you must really have eaten a lot of beans, brussel sprouts, or other flatulence causing fuel to only get 50 miles per gallon of gas! Poor SUVs can only get 20mpg, but S40 gets good mileage.

    Tweaking Results...

Hi Posta...excellent post! Where did you get/what brand, model, are the mirrors and do you have a side picture with you sitting on the bike? Would reversing the bag on the rack be more aerodynamic - splitting hairs of course. Looks fantastic, I have similar bars but far enough down that they...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Well it was a nice ride - this vicarious journey down under. Thanks for distracting us from the paid of mechanical worries for the nonce. Back to the pain.. Not what I did to my cruzbike today but can anyone help me with what I need to do with it tomorrow: Solve spokes creaking, cracking...

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

It took me a while but I realized today that on a reasonable hill that I had forgot to shift so went did an instantaneous 0-200rpm:eek: - it didn't throw me off at all. I was not going very fast but was in a quite low climbing gear, got distracted by some kids :emoji_unicorn: shouting or...

Play in headset on T50 - how to adjust?

As mentioned by @Doug Burton, the gap at the bottom is necessary in order for the bike to be able to steer. And if you try to squish it by tightening the adjustment too tight you will just end up damaging something: bearings or their components or some other part of the fork mechanism. (If...

Play in headset on T50 - how to adjust?

For mine (QX100 same concept, slightly different mechanism) I found that no matter any of the many different things I tried that the problem solver adjuster (thing with 3 radial holes in it for mine) inevitably either loosened, was unable to be locked by the locking set screw, or was unable to...

BOUGHT TODAY 2017 01 27 slightly used Silvio S30 frameset with front Suspension

My understanding is that the S30 and V20 were approaching very similar customers. I would agree with ak-tux's analysis, if you don't quite want a race machine the final S30 with the upgraded front triangle of the current S40, Q45, V20 would give you a very responsive, aero road platform. The...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Only three things I can think of that would have more wear on sidewall than on tread: a. tires out in sunlight long enough for rubber/casing to degrade, b. tires run at such low pressure (or leak such that they ran at extremely low pressure) that the tire was close to pinch flat on regular...
