Easy Reacher Under Seat Rack Installation issues

@Frank Costantini Huge Bummer! Hopefully it was a packaging mistake and TerraCycle can send the right size cross piece.

    Starting to assemble my Franken-T

@Rampa from post # 3: The images don't seem to be coming through for me. Can you post some of the pivot clamp you made and how you made it? And can you expand on how much contact you have between your original front triangle piece and the new boom tube, how many inches long are in contact...

Easy Reacher Under Seat Rack Installation issues

Sounds like they gave you one that is a little too long and it probably should have been 4.5". You should be able to mount the one with the 6.5" long spreader in a slightly different configuration if you want.

Easy Reacher Under Seat Rack Installation issues

I have a couple observations from Doug and Kens' photos: 1. Unless the perspective is off (entirely possible) it definitely appears as though Doug's bottom spreader bar is barely narrower than the top triangle of each side of the rack whereas the bottom spreader bar on Ken's appears...

    Starting to assemble my Franken-T

Men, even Cruzbike men would do better to stay away from speedo's especially near the boom... couldn't resist twisting your swords.. er.. words. :D

    S40 Frame

No offense meant @Teddy but one must ask for history. Who / where did you purchase it from? What caused the damage? Do you have personal knowledge of the damage and where are the front triangle, carbon seat, seat pad, headrest that go with the frame? Remember that we have a limited source...

    Cruzbike mis-adventures

Best wishes on a speedy recovery. Hope the "driver" is sentenced to riding a bike to work in traffic until you are able to ride your new bike that she purchases. But mostly wishing you healing and patience.

    Newbie Questions

Welcome! I don't have a V20 but from what I've read and my experience with a conversion kit and a QX100 it sounds like you are learning well and are right on track. It will take a while for your reactions and such to adapt to the new movements of the V20 compared to your previous bike(s)...

    Q45 My first 100 miles

Big difference = better, right? Can you give any completely subjective descriptions of ride quality comparison?

    Cyclops H2 Smart Trainer

(Beware: Emoticons are taking over the world and they are starting with this post:) In my family growing up we would spontaneously buy presents wherever they were to be found and give them whenever in the year that was most fitting, usually immediately, and say Merry Christmas. :emoji_santa:We...

Recumbent butt better with Thor seat?

@telephd It seems there are lots of factors. At least: 1. seat pan shape, 2. seat pan angle, 3. seat back shape, 4. seat back angle, 5. bottom bracket to seat height differential, not to mention body fitness, weight, height, adaption, etc. I notice that the seat pan angle on the newer S...

    SE Michigan or vicinity?

I am in Hamilton Ontario so possibly within your range, and I go through MI several times per year. I have a conversion and a QX100 (precursor to Q45). You are welcome to try them. Eric, I thought you were a Cruzbike expert already?

    Bacchetta Bag For Sale SOLD!

Hi Ken, I'm definitely not local (Hamilton, Ontario) otherwise I'd be riding over to relieve your guilty dust collection.!. Let me know if you are unable to find a home for it and are willing to ship. I use a touring front bar bag for the same purpose. It works, but not as well as that.

    S40 finally assembled and ready!

#18 under this thread has a link to a youtube of adjusting Avid BB7 disc brakes. The process would likely be the same except that you would be centering the brake pads with the Spyre so you would be turning the outer and inner pads in the same amount for the initial setup. Also, remember that...

@paco1961 Can you post a picture(s) of how it is mounted without the water bottle in order to see the mounting points? Cheers.

    Garmin lights on the V

Knog makes good lights. I like the programming and the quality, but I've got to go with @super slim: the 4x is one that borders on not effective enough. (If one is to have a eureka moment, one would want something a little brighter above one's head! :p) Happy safe riding to you.
