The content you want to post is not allowed.

@ratz, I have had some instances of the same error. It appears that in addition to the lack of reaching the threshold numbers of posts/days there are several other criteria that get that error. I think that one of them might be if someone else has posted a reply between the time that you start...

    Climbing hills on a V20?

@Osiris Do you have any pictures of you riding the V20 and M5: side, front, whatever. Maybe the collective tribe can find something that is causing the discrepancy. Maybe even get you in the ball-park of Watts per speed of the other V20 riders or at least clear up why there is such a...

    Climbing hills on a V20?

I am glad you said that, I was starting to think that you were disappointed (sacrilege) in the V20.

    Fairing on a Cruzbike?

Hi Ernest, ( @Cruzbike-in-Germany ) As the pictures seem to have been wiped out in the web update a few years ago, do you have any that you could post. I have a conversion kit that I am thinking of playing with a fairing. Especially of interest to me is attachment points and method...

    Climbing hills on a V20?

@Osiris, Not sure how my conversion kit would compare with your V20, setup, size of rider, etc. etc. however here is my two cents. My experiences says that as I was learning I swerved lots and overcorrected lots and it was close to dangerous when I first got out of the parking lot learning...

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

Maybe the confusion of various uses of cruzbike, cruise bike, cruiser bike, etc. is being replaced with logo. Maybe we are headed for a name change or rebranding?

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

@ElyDave, Is it for a steering damper? Is it for a crash bar? I don't know but it is a good question? Good seat height is important, too high is awkward and so is too low.

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

Hey @super slim my experience says that your last thought says it all. Stuff builds up easily so clearance is needed. The closer stuff is the more easily the debris builds up to where it can cause rubbing or worse - jamming of tire - baaaad.

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

Haul everything you need: Bosses. Insiders? Everyone has got to see this! "8 bosses on each side and 1 in the middle under the down tube." And still with space for a moose pack. Small quibble: In my unhumble opinion and experience if you are going to install a front fender then the...

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

The spacing of a 7 speed cassette is quite wide. So, I think 11-speed with same high and low would be possible. With large sizes of rear cassette in vogue right now you could take your large chain ring and current cassette (high-high) and once you have added 4 evenly spaced lower gears you...

    V20 vs. S40 Compared

As long as there is some traction I'd buy that statement every day, snow is beautiful, dry (usually), and fun.

    Cruzbike in the Snow

I want to ride the Cruzbike in the winter which includes significant amounts of salt-always, snow-sometimes, ice-occasionally so any suggestions are welcome. Which bike/tire combo do you use in all that snow/slush? What did the roads look like as far as surface treatment of snow and/or...

@bladderhead posted this picture which prompted me to ask how others have ridden in the snow.

    S40 Build

My two cents worth in my usual rambling, extended way. Opinion: If you are going to put fenders on then you will want full coverage. Rationale: What I mean is, if you pretend the wheel is spinning and throwing water/road grime at a tangent to the tire, you want the guard to cover anywhere...

Is it safe to drill chainstay bridge?

Hi @snilard, If you have this type of bracket (https://www.niagaracycle.com/categories/planet-bike-bridge-hardware-kit-for-road-fenders) then use two small zip ties through those little channels (parallel to the tire) in the outside of the bracket similar to the orientation of these zip...

    Trainer recommendations

I have not used purchased nor used anything more recent than a decade ago but this is what I am looking at. It looks promising, quiet, lower cost, and made nearby: https://www.staczero.com/hero and a review: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/06/stac-zero-trainer.html

    Newbie with build questions

That is an awesome look. Understated, muted background really gives that brilliant blue some real pop. Looks amazing (even down to the Subaru it's mounted on!)

Yes, those holes into the side of the frame, below the seat pan are for water bottle cages.

    THE NEW Q IS COMING

I am amazed every time I read our forum on how much I learn and the great wealth of knowledge that is in the Cruzbike Tribe and is shared in understandable, clear fashion. And without criticism. @Balor does all that you explained above mean that lengthening the wheelbase and changing the shock...

Quest 559 for sale. Many upgrades. So smooth! $1100.00. Sold.

Hi Craig, Those are some nice specs and upgrades. Looks like you didn't include front disc and brake replaced when wheel built and fenders in your list of additions and upgrades. Someone is going to get a nicely set up ride. (I have a conversion kit and QX100 already so can't spring for...
