    S30 WTB

Welcome ed72, I think you will find yourself very happy with whichever model you end up with. If you are focussed on dual suspension know that there are none in the current lineup with dual suspension. The first Silvio 1 and 1.5 were narrow tire suspended, 45 degree seat; Silvio 2 through S30...

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

Hey NeaL, I'm not sure but maybe @Rick Youngblood can help with ideas how to custom make stickers. I know he re-branded his Vendetta very nicely.

    S40- Wow!

Thanks for the awesome pictures. Do you ever find your knees interacting with the headlight mount? I have an older Metro and newer ? Cygolite and I love the light and the mount, but the mount sticks out down into my knee space on the conversion in my avatar (definitely limited knee space).

FCN calculator for Cruzbikes (Silly Commuter Racing - ItsNotARace.org)

Here's my take on FCN calculator for Cruzbikes: 2 = V20: comparable to best road bikes regardless of shaved legs, recumbent puts you in a category where you are looked at sideways regardless of shaved legs, category applies because you have the peak of innovation, engineering, etc. and are...

Where does the motivation go when commuting

So that I don't hijack this motivational thread, here's my take on FCN points calculator, adjusted for Cruzbikes: https://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/fcn-calculator-for-cruzbikes-silly-commuter-racing-itsnotarace-org.12148/

Where does the motivation go when commuting

1000 apologies for stream-of-consciousness-writing: Another motivation is to occasionally take another bike, no matter what the other one is: diamond frame road bike, mountain bike, Sofrider, unicycle. I switch to my mountain bike with studded Nokian tires when the weather turns salty...

Look out here come the Chinese

Never Fear, it is obvious that your comments, which include a high level of concern for others, are definitely at the discerning, well pondered end of that scale.

Look out here come the Chinese

I guess I can't label Country X manufacturing as bad when many of our excellent products come from there. One end of the scale is discernment, suitable caution; on the other end of the scale is racism/nationalism; and in our daily lives is the convoluted mix of things produced in a global...

Look out here come the Chinese

Some reactionary thoughts: -Can a Ti frame (or Carbon) really be a discount frame? There's a lot of overhead to building out of Ti. Can a company be making discount level junk out of Titanium? Department store bikes - those are discount frames, and in fact all components approach junk...

    Quest front suspension

Hi BillyK, et al., So first tighten the boom clamp, then after that is tight, then tighten the Diatech ring using the tiny allen? or the 4mm white allen? (I have a QX100 if that makes a difference. And I cannot get at the tiny hex bolt after the boom clamp is tightened because it partially...

Why is the adjustable front boom curved on the S40 and V20?

Thank you for the concise, clear explanation. I have wondered and guessed, but it is nice to know.

Merry Christmas to all Cruzbikers from Downunder

And from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada a very merry Christmas to you all. Dreaming of a white Christmas? 5-6" (15cm) just arrived in Oakville during the 3 Christmas Eve candlelight services I played. Only 3" (7cm) in Hamilton while I was away. Tomorrow night drops to -18 C. But wouldn't trade...

    Zip tie front triangle...?

Can someone enlighten my ignorance (in this area, a complete enlightenment would take more than this forum) Is there a specific reason for the skewer kept in one direction rather than the other? Is one way more secure ie. a lower chance of loosening from vibration than the other direction? And...
