    Bar-end Shifters on a Silvio

I don't have a Silvio yet, but have already disassembled my road bike to scavenge parts. I plan to build a Silvio up with Shimano Ultegra 10-speed (c. 2006), Ultegra Brakes and Truvativ Rouleur crankset with Rotor rings (I believe they are 50 x34). I still need to purchase a wheelset, so that is...

    V2K Rear Triangle/Swingarm

I am curious as to whether the V2K rear triangle/swingarm assembly is avaialble separately. I have a donor frame which is aluminum, but the swingarm is a heavy and ugly steel piece. It would be nice to have an all-aluminum frame. Thanks.

Would the Ladies' Schwinn Avenue work?

I'm looking at big box stores for a potential donor and found this bike at Wally World. I like the idea of the all aluminum frame and 700C wheels. I'm not against doing some frame modification as necessary. Any thoughts if this would be a good start?
