Too Warm To Not Ride!
Today was only my third ride this year, so far.
While puttering about in our bamboo this morning, a small group of talkative bicyclists passed by our home.
Stretching my back, I enviously watched as several riders bombed up the little hill.
Spinning his pedals rapidly, a Bachetta rider brought up the rear.
It was all just too much for me to take... so, after lunch, I went for a short ride on actual streets, outdside, on my bike.
There were not many people out riding in the early afternoon; you could count them on one paw.
(Less than four!)
But one guy was out riding on his recumbent tadpole tricycle....
-He was going the other way, on the road I sprint home on.
With the wind at my back, I passed the, 'trike-guy' going 30.3 miles per hour.
Not a bad day:
-over 70 degrees Fahrenheit;
-saw a Bachetta;
-blew past a recumbent trike and,
-averaged over 16 miles per hour.
My Sofrider still kicks A$$!
