I'm getting a Vendetta!!!

For me the increased drag of the higher head/shoulder position is more than compensated for by the comfort, stability and power I get w the Thor seat. But then again Maria Parker has no problem setting all kinds of records using the stock seat. The good thing is that I enjoy the tinkering and experimenting as much as the riding. Endless opportunity!

I was very much unimpressed with the stock seat when I got my bike, but have really come around on it.
A custom headrest helped a lot, along with a little padding behind the shoulders and a little in the lumbar. I sit up a little higher than stock-stock, but not nearly as high as a Thor seat would.

I like the stock seat but I did 3D print a lumbar support to velcro to the seat pan under the ventisit pad. Lumbar support made all the difference for me.
I was still fiddling with the head/neck rest and just stumbled on the perfect solution. Ballistic Jell !!. I have about 1/2" of ballistic jell taped to the harder foam pad right at the base of my head/neck just below the helmet adjuster. Man is it nice, I can even ride over pretty rough roads without my eyeballs vibrating out of my head :)

Andrew,
I'm all for anything with "Ballistic" in its name!

My plan is to just ride it as is for now. I may try to move the seat a bit more forward, so that it'll recline a bit more...
As I was riding next to my buddy, it appeared that he was laying back flatter, but comparing our bikes side by side, they seating angle appears to be the same...
His Vendetta is the V20 and mine is the V2.0...

I do like the Ice Headrest. Simple to install, adjust and pretty comfy...

It’s a silicone type material used to test penetration and wound cavity creation of ammo. It simulates flesh. I just happened have some but it’s similar to the jell padding in gloves and shorts.
Well, you got my attention. I went down the Google rabbit hole on this one.
Maybe make some in the proper shape and size?

It’s hard to cut and won’t take glue which is why I had to tape it in place. I just happened to have a block from a project at work so I sliced off a 1/2” thick piece and gave it a try. So far so good but I don’t know if it will break down over time.
