Any word on when the new Q45 will be available? The website says "fall", but I'm looking for something a little more specific. :)

Expected cost would be nice to know too.

Thanks.

The manufacturing realities of today make a more specific date at this time nearly impossible. But rest assured they will be coming. No pricing promises as of yet either.

Yep Through axles, Flat mount brakes, and Crane Creek ViscoSet Headset per the insiders newsletter!
All good changes! Can't wait!

I've watched the Cruzbike forum and website for the last four or five years watching the bikes change and thinking of getting one. A bit ago I decided I was going to get a Q-45. Hadn't been to the site for a bit and when I looked the bike was on hold for an update. My old aching back is sick of riding a diamond frame. I'm definitely purchasing a Q-45 as soon as they are available.

New Q pic is out.
It is gorgeous
Will the handlebars be available as a standalone item for those of us with older Q models?

We are planning on this - but bear with us as we have to get everything made and here as far as the "extras." Manufacturing and shipping has been hammered and taking a toll on the entire bike industry.

But we will eventually have these available.

good for you guys. eager to hear how it rides compared to past 45's
wonder what total weight of the bike is.

@cpml123 going to 50 will require more chain, and maybe a different rear mech. one thing that happens in short chainstay lengths is that big cassette rings put some funky side pressure on the chains too.

my t50 with 559-50 weights 36
my sofrider with slightly smaller tires weighs 34

Darn... on my S40 I need to use 34 front and 40 back to get up to some of the Seattle hills. I am afraid 42 front and back won't be enough. 42 front and 50 back should be good.

The spec says 11-42 is the biggest range. What's needed to make it 11-50?
I think a derailleur hanger extender with a long cage derailleur like the original SRAM NX Long Cage can do the job. May need a longer chain too?
FYR, I'm running 38T front and 11-50T back and is using Shimano Deore RD-M592-SGS 9-speed long cage Shadow derailleur with a derailleur hanger extender. I can ride up most of the steep hills in my hometown with the 50 teeth cassette.
