    Change Quest 2.0 to 3.0?

They didn't back in June, but I checked with Robert last week and they were in stock. FedEx is bringing me one Monday.

    V20 female riders

Same for me. I tried a Vendetta last year, and I could ride it, but I prefer being a little more upright. That's what kept me from trying a Cruzbike for so long in the first place--all the hype on BROL about how hard it was to learn. Once I took the plunge with the Q, and finally got the hang...

A few pics of the Freerider

Looks like they came out at the same time, mid-2006. https://web.archive.org/web/20060803212521/http://cruzbike.com:80/

    Steering damper/stabilizer

My inseam is 30.5", x-seam 40.5". I got the 150mm cranks for the S30 to keep my knees from hitting the handlebars (not so much bend in the knees). The Q came stock with 155s. I had 165s on my old Silvio 1.5, and on tadpole trikes when I used to ride those. No knee problems with any of them.

    Steering damper/stabilizer

Start with the Bikesmith Crank Questions page. I read almost everything on the site, some of it repeatedly, before ordering my cranks.

    Steering damper/stabilizer

Should probably be "crank" instead of "cramp," looking at the context. Quite a few of us run shorter cranks and/or Q-rings. I have 155mm cranks and an elliptical ring on my Q; 150s and Q-rings on the S30.

If I can build up an S30, so can you

No worries. I've probably hijacked my own threads a time or two.

    Wanna go on my bike?

I don't mind letting a novice try my Q, with proper instruction from the learning checklist first. An S30 test ride would only be for someone with experience on another Cruzbike model.

If I can build up an S30, so can you

I made the one I put on my helmet. Printed the logo in the size I wanted, used it as a stencil to cut some leftover Scotchlite tape, and stuck the pieces to a larger square of white reflective tape. Fiddly business, that. Next time I'll ask Rick, now that I know he makes stickers.

Helmet for Casual, Everyday Riding: Yes or No?

They probably would have liked it to be Softrider, to go along with the Freerider; but there was already a brand of bike called Softride.

    559/700cc build...finally ridable

Yes, unfortunately, those photos were lost in the forum software changeover a few years back. I stumbled on one of the photos a few months ago while Googling for something else, but it was on Pinterest (?!) and, not having/wanting an account, I couldn't link to it. It looks a lot like the Trail...

    a Trail Quest, or Q650b ...

I think he means hub, since he wants to keep his DualDrive, but they'll also need to transfer the cassette. When I went from 451 wheels to 507 on my Q, I bought an 11-32 cassette to replace the original 11-28, so I could keep the gear inches about the same for the lowest gear.

    a Trail Quest, or Q650b ...

Call around to the bike shops in your area and ask, or check with your local cycling club for recommendations. Transferring the disks is trivial. Wheelbuilding cost will vary based on what kind of rim and spokes you want, what kind of hub you choose for the non-drive wheel, and how good the...

    a Trail Quest, or Q650b ...

My inseam is 30.5". The 507 wheels have worked well for me. Like Bob said, 406 gives the most choices in tire width; I believe the minimum tire width available for 507 is 1.5". Yes. I bought my non-drive wheel used, already built to take disk brakes, and got a new rim of the same model for the...

    a Trail Quest, or Q650b ...

Anything you can put a disk brake on that will fit the suspended fork, up to 559. 406 works, 507 works. To go larger than 559, like this Trail Quest, you'd need the unsuspended fork used by the Quest 3/QX100. (I suppose you could go smaller than 406, but I suspect there would be problems with...

    Bike rack trunk mount options?

With some creative bike placement and bungee cords, possibly. The pictured rack is hitch-mount, but shows how the Q559 could be positioned on a rack with straight arms: http://www.nybents.com/cruzbike-quest-on-car-mounted-bike-rack/ @Mathew Fy, is the Raceway Platform still doing OK for you?

    The 'V' has arrived!

I have the PD-M324s on both my Cruzbikes. I had been using Power Grips on one set of M324s when they were on a tadpole trike. I took the straps off, but left the mounting brackets--which has the effect of weighting the pedals so that the clip-in side faces me. You could probably find something...

    QR skewer is fixed???!

What makes you think they aren't serious about needing a rubber mallet? :D It does turn out to be quite useful for gently persuading two pieces to line up. Yes, they're serious about the direction of the trainer. On an upright, you'd have that resistance wheel on the back side of the drive...
