    What cycle computer for T50?

I remember the instructions saying that the back of the unit should point roughly at the sensor. That may be hard to do in the T50 handlebar position, with the bars higher up and farther forward.

    What cycle computer for T50?

Maybe this will help. Probably the Silvio handlebar position puts the head unit at a better angle.

I put a car horn on my Silvio

Actually, Loud Bicycle's "Loud Mini", which sounds like and is as loud as a car horn. I saw a prototype of Loud Bicycle's first horn (now sold as the "Classic") some years ago. I liked the idea: why should I be riding in traffic with cars, but unable to communicate like a car? However, the...

This one is for those who purchased the Axiom rack for their T50s

Random suggestion: try picking up the back of the bike a bit and dropping it so the tire bounces. If there is any rattle in the rear, you should hear it. Try moving your head around to pinpoint the sound, or maybe you'll even see something move.

Speed difference between a Freerider and either a V20 or S30?

Yes you can! Limit seems to be around 1MB per photo.

What kind of attention does *your* bike get?

Mostly excited kids saying "woah!", "nice bike!". Or parents training their kids to be excited by strange things ("look at the bike!"). If I stop during my ride, I get the occasional in depth questioning, from an older man on a DF. Could be my imagination but I think I got more comments before...

@MrSteve FYI, Photobucket ate your photos in that last post.

    What cycle computer for T50?

My Cateye Strada (wireless) has been working fine for 3 years or so, on my Silvio.

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

I'm curious to know where you derived this from, in particular the 45 degrees which is not familiar to me? Also I'm not sure full extension is necessarly on your line from hip socket to BB. I used the Rotor instructions.

    Hydration options for T50

@ratz turned me on to the Lezyne Flow cages, which work great. No bottle ejections since I got them. He also turned me on to FLEXR remote hydration, which is basically a hose hydration system with that uses regular bottles instead of a bladder, so if you've figured out how to mount bottles...

Equipment List For An S40 Build

Yes. The Rival 22 RD is 11 speed. The FD is 2 speed. So, the Rival 22 FD will work with any 2 speed SRAM brifter. SRAM does not change their cable pull rates often. I'm using this combination (started with an older Rival FD and upgraded to Yaw), as are others on this forum I believe. The only...

Equipment List For An S40 Build

The Rival 22 (Yaw) FD will work with the same brifters, shift a bit better, and give you more usable gear combinations. (However, I have never seen perfect setup instructions for it.)

    Suspension Adjustable Headrest, positioning of

Thanks, this does put it in a better place. Bending the mast would be required to restore suspension travel since the cushion is now right up against the bars. I think I'll go back to the stock padding for now. Too much tinkering, not enough riding.

    Suspension Adjustable Headrest, positioning of

This will put the headrest too close and push my head+neck uncomforably forward. I started like that and had to move it farther away. I hadn't considered mounting it upside down, interesting, but I expect it would have the same problem with helmet clearance (or worse).

    Suspension Adjustable Headrest, positioning of

The bars only slide in one direction, in or out of the frame tube, parallel to the seat. Lower = closer in, higher = farther away.

    Suspension Adjustable Headrest, positioning of

Yes. I have the headrest pad behind my neck, below the helmet. There is a large metal bar sticking up above the headrest pad (see photo).

    Suspension Adjustable Headrest, positioning of

OK, what am I doing wrong? In order to get the Suspension Adjustable Headrest at the base of my skull, where the stock headrest used to be, I have to mount it very low on the bars: In this position, my helmet conks right into the headrest bars behind the cushion. The issue is that since the...

    New and Improved Headrest Clamp

OK, I have given in to peer pressure, drilled a second hole, and installed both clamps. My hand drill required a delicate touch to get all the way through.

    Fighting residual wobblies

My girlfriend and I did some work on her bike a while back (DF, single speed) which required removing the seat and post, among many other things. After we put it back together, she reported that the steering was weird. I tried riding the bike and found that it really wanted to weave back and...

    Vendetta headrest

Ratz said the PAH is heavy. The SAH feels pretty light. I measure it at 140g (not counting the stock headrest tubes it bolts to), which is in exchange for for the 50g+ stock padding, so 90g or so weight gain.
