    V20 Build - MBB newbie

I have no personal experience with this product, but maybe worth a look: https://www.artscyclery.com/SRAM_Braze-On_Front_Derailleur_Shim/descpage-SRFDSH.html

    V20 Build - MBB newbie

Looks like I got my details wrong. I have a Rival 22 (Yaw) FD now, but with a 50t Q ring which has variable radius and is wider than a standard round ring at its peak. Its clearance is fine but the derailleur is near or at the bottom of the adjustment range on the stalk. Back when I had round...

Don't think that matters here, the stalk is designed to fix the geometry regardless of boom length/rotation. On my Silvio 2.0 a 50t works fine. Seems like Cruzbike changed the spec on the stalk on recent models.

Showers Pass Drinking System on V20 - What Do You Think?

My shortish hose slipped its clip once and hit the rear wheel. The wheel pulled off the bite valve (which a car then ran over), but no tangle or crash. Guess I got lucky there!

Showers Pass Drinking System on V20 - What Do You Think?

FWIW, I have my hose clipped at the top of the seat/base of the headrest. I can reach over my shoulder and grab it pretty easily.

Clicking noise on my new V

My front end creaks, synched with pedaling, have seemed to come from the two boom/slider clamps. Usually disassembling, greasing all interfaces (between the boom+slider, inside the clamps, around the bolts), and reassembling fixes it -- but not always. Sometimes it comes and goes on its own.

Actually the loop is for changing the cable pull direction without a sharp bend, which would add friction. The housing shouldn't move when you shift.

Cable stops for the RD shifter cable, yes exposing part of the cable.

    Front derailleur on V20

You probably want metal shims (others have done this) or alternate BB cups that fit, not rubber.

    Front derailleur on V20

Well that's baffling to me. In my limited experience, sluggishness or failure shifting up = cable tension too low, and inability to shift down means cable tension too high. It's hard to imagine both at the same time o_O. Since it works sometimes I would doubt the problem is the limit screws...

FYI, the chainstay supposedly comes in two lengths with your picture showing the longer one. I don't know what you're basing your assessment on, though.

    T50 seat advice needed

This could be as simple as flipping the stem around to point toward you, and then potentially lowering the bars (which I did on my Sofrider way back when). Give it a try.

My Silvio seat pan is 10" wide (minus the flared bits at the side) and the Ventisit pad fills it and then some. Same for the seat back, the pad looks at least as wide as the seat at all points.

    The 'V' has arrived!

Moving the headrest backward (out of the frame) will also move it upward, I believe this is what @ratz had been pointing out recently.

I put a car horn on my Silvio

Looks nice, might get one of those to stick on the other handlebar.

Different Gearing Needed for Climbing Hills any Suggestions?

Not sure there's anything special about a 1:1 gear ratio, when in context you are using short cranks to turn a big wheel (far from 1:1).
